Exactly as it claims to be. Very very sharp and slices really thin. Love it

This is an interesting knife, spent a good hour sharpening it after I received it. Makes a nice addition to my existing BBQ Tools but not for every day use. I had hoped to use it for trimming brisket and I still might if I can get the hang of it. Good looking piece and makes for a conversation piece.

The black finish was nearly rubbed/polished off the entire blade. Blade is sharp, but time will reveal true quality of the blade.Return was considered, but kept the knife rather than deal with the hassle. Loss of finish makes me question if this blade is safe for food prep.

Outstanding item easy to use and very sharp.

Looks great, feels great, and initially worked great. However, after a couple weeks of light-to-moderate use, it does appear to be losing its initial sharpness. Hence, the 4-star review.
