My wife's favorite bag
Small and light, it holds more than you'd think. My wife has several other travel backpacks and bags, but this is still her go-to for day walks while we travel.

Flexible utility piece for One Bag travel
I'm kind of a travel gear junkie, always looking for the right bags to support my needs. I travel with one bag that fits under the seat in front of me, and no other bag. That bag is a 26L bag from a boutique pack maker. I can travel indefinitely in it, to anywhere, and for any length of time. However, I find I REALLY need a packable day pack. I need it to look sleek, professional, lightweight, and be comfortable enough to wear most all day. It should be able to look great in any situation. You can find a million different kinds of packable day packs out there, but none of them fit all of those criteria. Until now. This bag is surprisingly visually small looking, but it magically somehow holds a TON of stuff. You could put a file folder and nothing else in this bag and it would look great. You could also stuff it full to bursting and it would still look great. it doesn't get all lumpy and weird looking. That's a really unusual quality in a thin packable bag. When folded into its included little pouch, this bag slides right into my 26L pack into a front flat pocket no problem. The packed pouch is maybe 1.5" thick, less if you give it a good squish, and 9"L by 8"H. When folded as the video shows, the pack easily sllides in to the pouch. There's no stuffing struggle at all. This bag is not entirely flat. The bottom panel is about 5" and flat. The top front has 2" darts at the top corners giving the bag a nice shape and some extra depth at the top. There are no interior pockets in this bag (which I like). The nylon fabric of both pouch and bag is thick, silky to the touch, and durable. Should it get dusty or dirty, it wipes clean with a damp cloth. Both pouch and pack are lined in a very light gray nylon making everything in the pack and pouch easy to see.I did a test wtih this pack and loaded it up with a Patagonia NanoPuff parka (not stowed in its zipper bag). An iPad Mini with folder case, 1 amazon small size packing cube stuffed full of 5 tshirts, a notepad and pen, a case with glasses, and a full TSA 3-1-1 bag. It was pretty packed. but I probably could have jammed some more small items into it. The zippers easily slid right into place (the zippers can be locked together with a TSA lock as well). and the bag looked smooth and sleek. The real test was wearing this bag all day. it was fairly heavy. I wasn't sure the webbed straps were going to be comfortable. But, color me wrong, they were comfy! I did find I needed to adjust the strap length longer and wear it lower than I would most other packs for ultimate comfort, but comfortable it was. The webbed shoulder straps are just wide enough, and they feel like the softest silk. They did not cut into my skin at all. It was also easy to sling one strap off and move the bag to my front to access it without having to wiggle out of the bag entirely.I very much like the soft webbed grab handle at the top and the D-ring connectors at the bottom that attached the harness. I found I could easily carabiner this bag to the outside of my larger pack if I didn't want to unpack it. The trolly handle on the back of this bag is also useful. For under $100... this bag was totally worth the price. Generally speaking the One Bag travel community poo-poos Tumi... I think they're all wrong. I think these bag deisgns are super smart, attractive, and durable. (I also have a Tumi Voyager Mona convertible Tote/Messenger that's been spectacular as well)

Perfect for travel & quality Tumi product.
The first backpack split & shredded at the seams after one use & I did not over-pack it.I received a replacement without any issue & use it every time that I travel. It folds small into my luggage & handbag for shopping when abroad.

My New Traveling Companion!
I've taken this backpack on a few vacations and love it. It's lightweight and very packable. I'm always looking for items that are practical and highly useful for traveling...this one is worth the price! I use it as my "bag around town" while visiting different locations. It's much better than a purse, as it is large enough to hold everything you need and not heavy or bulky. It's also quite nice looking :)

The best business and travel backpack!
When I travel, especially with sightseeing, I hate to carry a handbag; I find a backpack much easier and better from my shoulders and back. After buying – and returning – a couple of backpacks, I found this one just in time for my trip to Italy! It folded flat into my luggage for travel, taking up no space, but was great for carrying the contents of my handbag, a water bottle and other items for day long treks and even the purchase of small souvenirs. My light weight pashmina, folded up, also fits into the bag. The bag itself is incredibly light weight. And unexpected bonus: I thought there was a pocket in the back but it turns out that it is a wide band that slips over the handle of rolling luggage! That clinched it for me! On most business trips now, I take a carry-on rollerboard suitcase that contains a small handbag for social events and then carry my laptop and the contents of my handbag in the Tumi backpack to use when I am attending business meetings.I have owned a number of Tumi products and this one is absolutely the best!Update: it appears that Tumi may be discontinuing this backpack, which would be a shame. Just to be sure I have this style into the foreseeable future, I purchased another one. I use it not only for traveling but for attending meetings or being on a college campus where I may need my laptop. It is getting a lot of use!

Perfect travel companion
I bought this to use as a carry-on - it's remarkably roomy for such a small bag! I put in a sweater, a makeup bag, headphones, iPad, a little case with cords and chargers, sunglasses, travel docs, water bottle, wallet, keys, 2 phones - and still had a bit of room left over. The nylon is heavyweight and the gold zippers are substantial. It does not look utilitarian or outdoorsy. It really does fit into a small pouch, which is useful on its own.The only thing I'd wish for is an interior zippered pocket. Nonetheless, I love this bag and I feel it was really worth the price.

Really want to like it, but not for everyday use
This is a great bag with value price. It is very light weight and stylish. But it lacks of form. I think it is great for travel as a spare backpack, but it won’t be suitable as for everyday use. The buckle parts are made of plastic instead of metal, which is odd for a Tumi product.
