I loved this film. Highly original, full of menace and mystery. Well acted and atmospheric. I just loved the story and the whole concept.

Arrived quickly...I didn't enjoy the film though ..I found it confusing and boring

Some reviews as said this is slow gets better , l agree the child actress is good , but the film is "BORING" ! L were,nt that impressed by so called climax ,

THE LITTLE GIRL THAT PLAYS STEPHANIE IS GOOD, BUT THE FILM ITSELF IS BORING AND SLOW MOVING. STEPHANIE SHARES HER BIG HOUSE WITH FRANCIS, A STUFFED TOY, AND HER BROTHER'S CORPSE. THE PARENTS ARE NOWHERE TO BE FOUND, SO SHE AMUSES HERSELF, MAKES HER OWN MEALS AND BRUSHES HER TEETH DAILY, SEEMING WELL-ADJUSTED TO THIS ROUTINE. NEWSPAPER CLIPPINGS SEEN AROUND THE HOUSE AND NEWS SNIPPETS ON TV MAKE THE VIEWER THINK THAT MAYBE A VIRUS OR AN ENTITY OF SOME SORT (THE MONSTER STEPHANIE SOMETIMES TRIES TO HIDE FROM) KILLED THE PARENTS AND ALL THE NEIGHBOURS. BUT THEN THE PARENTS COME BACK (FRANK GRILLO AND ANNA TORV) AND THE TRUTH BEGINS TO EMERGE. THE MOVIE WASN'T WHAT I EXPECTED. HAD IT NOT BEEN SO SLOW MOVING, IT WOULD HAVE MADE A BETTER IMPRESSION ON ME.

Didn't expect much as this film completely slipped under the radar, but it was actually very good indeed. First class acting from the 3 actors, especially 12 year old Shree Crooks who is outstanding. Best described as a cross between A Quiet Place and Carrie it won't appeal to everyone, but it is well worth watching. As somebody else pointed out, it could easily have been adapted from a Stephen King story. It's sad that some find this film boring, but I suppose if you like your horror films filled with gratuitous violence, buckets of blood and multiple boobs, you will be disappointed.

Slow start but stick with it. The girl who plays Stephanie is a great actress. Very good story with a twist. Really exciting.

Went by the stars and rented this but was weird,and slow and pointless,save your money ........0 stars
