So far so good after approximately 2mos usage. I agree with reviews that charger became very hot with first charge. Since then, have not experienced over heating of charger. Seems to be functioning as past charhers. 4 stars now. With time & continued positive experience could garner 5star at next update. Would recommend, good price, does the job.

Junk! 1/2 star.If you use it hard as in coping a large file it over heats to the point the glue on the cover melts!See Pic. 170°F is in failure mode.1/2 way through a project it shuts off & you loose the copy!

My puppy chewed my cord and I searched everywhere for one that would fit my laptop. I came across this one and it works perfectly!! It didn’t heat up as one of the reviews stated. The price was amazing

my laptop still wold not startup so I believe the power supply was not the issue so I cannot make a review!

Much cheaper than buying from hp and does the same function.

The product is exactly as advertised. I have had a hard time finding anything that could plug into this laptop since I lost the charger in a move. It has a relatively rare to find male part that doesn't match up with anything else I had lying around the home. These guys got me the charger within days and I was up and operational in not time. Thanks so much!

For the price and for it being generic, it works good and does not get hot.
