Don't have a serious hearing deficiency (-30%), so decided to buy one unit based on price. ($59). Charged the unit on receipt and started using it in right ear only. Adjustment is key. I don't use excessive volume, just enough to improve hearing. This way there is no feedback noise. Important also to fit it snuggly and deep into the ear for best sound and comfort. REALLY IMPROVED listening to TV movies and one on one conversations. Even seems to have improved left ear hearing (maybe sympathetic brain connection- who knows). I use it only as needed and turn power off when not in use thus charge lasts days. Love the USB recharge capability- no need to fiddle with mini batteries. To my knowledge, does not have noise cancelling capability, but has two sound modes (soft sound mode and Sonority mode) I use soft sound. It is a delicate instrument so one must treat it delicately. For me it works great and fulfilled my needs.

It worked, not the best sound quality, but it works.

I bought this product based on the god reviews. Very disappointed that stopped working, it was charged last night and the battery didn't even last for 5 hours. First week works perfectly until today. Very disappointed. My mom was very happy because she was finally able to watch tv and understand what they were saying. So sad about this.

The only issue I had is when I would look look down or up the hearing aid that just rests on the ear would slip. Problem of dangling from ear is solved. Pictures show how I solved the problem.I have been struggling with loss of hearing for several years. It was so sad to not hear what my grandchildren said to me, I had to keep asking them to talk louder. I cannot afford those expensive hearing aids and I saw this on Amazon and figured it was worth a try. I love it, I have no problem hearing now, in fact I can now hear the birds outside my window singing. This was certainly well worth the money.

I wasn't expecting much. Very inexpensive. All my friends have hearing aids costing many thousands. This one works very well. The main object is to keep it turned down LOW. The only downside is you hear things that you're not accustomed to hearing -- like the dog barking, and the fan in the air filter. I got one but am now deciding whether to get the second one.

Me parece un buen producto espero tenga buena duración ya que solo tengo un día de tenerlo y no podría opinar al respecto de su calidad ya que no tengo el tiempo suficiente de uso para evaluar al respecto,hasta el momento me siento muy agradado con su funcionamiento y le veo similaridad en calidad de sonido al que se usaba anterior a este y que era de muchísimo más costo

The ear wire was too short to reach the ear canal. This makes wearing the amplifier impossible for me. This added to the frustration. I tried both ears before cleaning and repackaging and calling Amazon to return it.

I bought this as a backup unit and so far have been very pleased. Does a far better job of filtering background noice than much more expensive units. Is a little large and does not fit quite as well as others but I would recommend this as a beginner hearing aid and even without all the bells and whistles is a very effective unit.
