Hoop is fine, light sucks.
The hoop itself is fine, the light strip is the problem. The light uses incredibly thin wires so good luck attaching them to any sort of plug. Lastly mine lasted three months, with very minimal use before something caused the lights to not work. I have power and continuity from the bike through the plug but no lights.
