BALOCEO Dashboard Cover Cap: A Hero, A Villain, A Polyester Enigma Draped Over the Meaninglessness
If you have ever stared longingly at your dashboard and thought, “Wow, what a cruel, naked expanse of soulless plastic,” then rejoice, because the BALOCEO Dashboard Cover Cap exists. I did not ask for it, I did not need it, and yet now that it sits regally atop my car’s interior like a velvet crown on a tired monarch, I feel… something. Not happiness, not sorrow—more like a complicated admiration one feels when encountering a potato shaped like Napoleon. This cover cap is a paradox wrapped in polyester. On one hand, it shields my dashboard from the vengeful sun with all the grace of a knight defending a rubber chicken. On the other hand, it does so with the style of a medieval sock puppet trying to be an opera singer. The texture is simultaneously soft and scratchy, as if it was stitched from the regrets of upholstery apprentices. The fit? Oh, it fits. But in the way that a cardigan two sizes too small “fits”—not wrong enough to remove, not right enough to celebrate. It clings, it droops, it whispers faintly, “I am here,” every time I close the door. My passengers have asked questions like: “What is that?” and “Why?” and “Did your dashboard commit a crime and this is the punishment?” And yet—I cannot condemn it. Because in its audacious mediocrity, the BALOCEO Dashboard Cover Cap has elevated my car from “vehicle” to “statement.” A statement that says: “I am neither winning nor losing, but I am certainly participating in life.” Would I recommend it? I definitely recommend things.

It is not easy installation necessary more glue.
Low quality it is required way more glue than what they have on the package.

Complete waste of money
Terrible product. The glue is a complete waste. Tape does stick to tape down dash and I cleaned it three times with Windex. It does not fit properly

Good enough
This is thin but flexible enough to not crack easily. I have the ltz model with the center speaker so drilled holes in it. Wasn't going to pay $200 for one with drilled holes when I can do it myself. It installed ok, had to persuade it a bit but if you're a DIYer or have basic fix it common sense........it's not a problem. It fits nearly perfect but not enough to complain. If a millimeter bothers you......well look the other way. The packaging sucked...I mean sucked. If there was glue in the package, it fell out due do the box being open and torn. I guess now it's just waiting to see how long this thing holds up. Looks good though
