I bought this to use with my garage air compressor to adjust my car tire pressure as the weather changes from Summer to Winter and back again. So much easier than the stick pressure gauge that I had been using for years. You get instant feedback on what your tire pressure is. When letting air out of the tire you don’t even have to connect it to the compressor. As far as accuracy goes, the reading on this gauge always exactly matches the reading of the TPMS on my dashboard. I have nothing else to check it against, but at least that’s something. The main complaint in reviews of this product was that the connection to the chuck can be tricky and can leak air. One reviewer suggested swapping the head for a JACO lightning S-Series 1/4” F-NTP air chuck. (Make sure to buy the OPEN FLOW model). I figured for $14 I would just buy the JACO chunk right away and avoid any aggravation. The JACO chuck works perfectly. I didn’t even bother trying it with the original chuck that came with it. All said, it’s a great product, accurate and easy to use. I gave it four stars instead of five because of the questions I read in other reviews regarding the chuck head.

I bought one for the shop ad it works so well, I bought another one for my home. We have typically eaten these things up, but this particular inflator has really held up and is of great quality. They seem to be very accurate and make filling up a breeze. Not sure how long the battery lasts, but it's been six months and the battery indicator shows full.

Works great and connects to the compressor line easily. Shows pressure to 1/10 per pound, is illuminated and the batteries were included. Stays locked on value, works fast and has a pressure release button when you over shoot. Really like the trigger style, easy to hold.

I have maintained my own tires for 50 years now (ever since I started driving). I have a mini air compressor as part of my garage essentials (the other being a battery shop charger/car jumper). I have used various tire gages and air hose attachments throughout the years. They were always difficult to fit on the valve stem properly where air was released before finding the right angle. The difficulty in both gauging and filling tires completely stopped after purchasing this item (along with a separate Jaco pressure gauge for the occasional quick pressure check). I can't say enough about this item. Now it only takes minutes to check and fill tires. The valve stem attachment clips right on the valve stem with one hand, while holding the inflator nicely in the other hand. The inflator immediately and clearly shows the current tire pressure. Your hand holding the inflator already has a few fingers on the air flow activation lever. A slight squeeze causes the tire to start filling with the air gauge now indicating the amount of pressure going into the tire. Releasing the lever switches the gauge back to show the current tire pressure. A few more repeats and your done, leaving the tire with the precise pressure desired (I keep 30 PSI in my Sorento). The price for such precision and convenience is low indicating excellent value. I highly recommend this product for all auto do-it-yourselfers. Cheers!

Quality inflator with accurate pressure gauge. Its great being able to change units at a press of a button from psi to BAR to kPa to kgf/cm2. Thanks to its auto power off, the battery looks like it will last years before needing to be replaced.
