Rev-A-Shelf8" Pullout Storage Organizer for Base Kitchen/Bathroom Cabinets, Spice Rack Pantry Shelves with Soft-Close Slides, Wood, 448-BDDSC-8C

I wanted to have a huge spice rack hanging inside my new pantry cabinet but the split doors didn't allow for that, unfortunately. I had two narrow cabinets and decided to use one for the spices. I decided on this pull-out. It is really nice. It attached easily (according to the carpenter) to the new cabinet door, glides smoothly in and out, is quiet, sturdy, and attractive. It holds dozens of jars.To be honest, I removed one of the 3 shelves. The shelf removed very easily and I am glad I took it out. With 3 shelves it made it very difficult to see and access the jars. With just the 2 shelves I can see everything quickly and can pop the jars in and out in seconds. I have over 50 small Mason jars of spices, 6 bottles of extracts, a few sauce/dressing mix envelopes, 2 packages of bouillon cubes/packets, etc. The capacity, even with only 2 shelves, is enormous. Both shelves are organized alphabetically with the top shelf holding the most commonly used and the bottom with the ones I use only once or twice a year.

I bought 2, to put in the cabinets on each side of my oven. The instruction were unclear but I was able to find a video on YouTube of a similar item to help. You definitely need a power drill, and some modification on the bumpers. Once I got the first one in the second was quicker to install. The shelves are much easier to adjust. Overall, I’m very happy with the outcome and it’s working wonderfully.

The media could not be loaded.  Really nice template for the bracket and that part installed easily. I did have to move it back 1/4 inch after I had everything else together though. The unit sticks out beyond the edge of the bracket about 1/8 inch and the cabinet door sticks out beyond the unit for another 1/8 inch. YMMV but that's the snafu I ran into. The complaints about there being no instructions for the locking device are on point. Attached a photo of how they go for the 8 inch model. Getting the door lined up is a pain. This is still a little off, the door does not sit precisely flush but I know I could mess with this forever and not get there so I'm choosing to be happy with it the way it is. Soft close functions nicely. Still trying to figure out how to adjust the shelves. one star off for poor directions but overall a good product.

We have a few narrow little cabinets in our kitchen, one of which we just piled boxes of plastic storage bags. It was always a mess.This was easy to install, is sturdy, operates smoothly, and looks great.The unit is not inexpensive and my reaction to the price held me back from purchasing for quite a while. But I'm glad I finally did and now I'm measuring another "shove and slam" cabinet to upgrade with a related product.

Looks great, works well and almost all my spices fits.
