Update: After a few days of letting this bag air out the smell seems to have become worse. It's mainly coming from the inside so it might even be the cheap lining that's making it smelly. Haven't been able to use it and I'm beginning to regret hanging on to it. Changing to 3 stars for now.This is a cute bag and not bad for the price. The dark blue color and somewhat matte finish is just what I wanted and the size of the bag works for my height (5' 1"). At a glance the 'leather' has a luxe look to it and it has enough structure to stand up on it's own. I also like that it has feet at the bottom and I'm glad there is no branding on the bag, I don't even mind the little plain tag. I plan to use this as an occasional fashion bag to go with casual outfits so I'm not worried about having to hold lots of heavy stuff in it. Gave it 4 stars because I'm not a fan of the loose lining, the fabric could be better and the pockets and zipper quality are pretty sad. I'm still considering removing the lining. I wish the double straps were wider, at least as wide as the shoulder strap would be nice, but it still works. I was able to remove most of the fold crease and the rest should smooth out with use (see 2nd pic). There is a slight synthetic smell but it's already starting to fade. I stuffed the bag with towels to help shape it and threw a dryer sheet inside. Should be good to go by this weekend. Overall a very cute bag for the price and I'm happy with my purchase. The good: This bag is pretty. It's simple but has a rich color to it. There also appears to be ample space if you intend to use it as a purse.Where this product could be improved: First, and most notable, it smells REALLY highly like mothballs but I'm sure it's a chemical used to protect the PU. In all fairness, there was a tag attached that said there may be an overwhelming smell and to air it outside for a while to get the smell to go away. I did not try this as I returned it the next day.I had planned to use this for a work bag for grading papers and tossing in my laptop. It really is not designed for this. With all of the things I wanted to throw in, plus the width inside is not the width outside because of the lining, I could not add these items in. I promptly sent it back and found another bag I liked.

I like the size, shape and sturdiness of this bag. The 2 small pockets inside are not very deep. I keep my cell phone in one and keys in the other. They usually stay in, but the pockets could be just a little deeper. The bag is big enough to hold those extras if needed, like a water bottle, small umbrella, etc. I also like how tall the bag is. I wish it had at least one outer pocket, but I knew it didn't before I purchased it. Overall, it's a great bag, and although I've only had it about a month, it seems like it will last a long time.

I was a bit nervous to buy this since the reviews were saying that the purse smells. I was very happy with the purse. It is roomy, stylish, and at a great price! It shipped quickly and did have a bit of a faux leather/plastic smell but it quickly went away in a couple of days. I put a dryer sheet in the bottom of it as soon as I stocked it with all of my junk and that may have helped.

For the $13 I spent on this bag, I’m impressed. Carries my legal pad, note book, and my portfolio.... and still functions as the “Mary Poppins” never ending purse I need. After a couple months, the PU is holding up, no pealing or flaking as is expected. I’m rough on my utility bags, and this one doesn’t even have scratches on it yet. Not the most “designed” bag, but beyond functional!

I was so excited to receive my handbag in the mail. It looks exactly like the item displayed and is true to size, which is awesome. The bag looks very much like a genuine leather handbag and not faux leather. The only problem is that this handbag smells like it has been secluded away in a basement COVERED in mothballs and other miscellaneous foul-smelling chemicals for at least a few decades. The Seller stated that IF the bag has a bad smell to air it out. I’m sorry but I shouldn’t have to air out a brand—new handbag for several days and HOPE that the stench goes away. (it did not go away, by the way) How about selling products that don’t smell horrible. If it needs to be aired out before it can be used then the Seller should air it out BEFORE shipping to the customer. It’s a shame because I really liked this handbag and intended on ordering it in all colors for myself, as well as purchasing multiples for gifts for friends and family. It would’ve been an excellent gift for someone that really loves quality handbags EXCEPT for the horrible smell.

I honestly loved this bag! It felt real, it was a nice soft "leather" and the straps were all very comfortable- to the point I almost kept it for the removable crossbody strap itself, lol. The only reason I returned it was because the other tote I purchased was a tad taller and I ended up needing the extra space for my purposes. Also- I didn't really like the stiff bottom- it felt like it made it really stick out from my body and that I'd end up hitting people walking around with it, lol. Really, that's probably the biggest reason I returned this bag, otherwise I would have just kept it and had two sizes of black leather totes, lol. I really did love everything else about it.
