Doesn’t smell original
The item does not smell anything like the body wash of sea + surf, don’t recommend it, doesn’t leave the skin moisturized well either

I recently picked up the Method Simply Nourish body lotion (or whichever scent you prefer!) and I’m genuinely impressed. It smells absolutely incredible—the rice milk, shea butter, and coconut scent is subtle, clean, and feels refreshingly natural, not synthetic or overpowering. The formula itself is fantastic. It has a lightweight, non-greasy texture that absorbs quickly into the skin, so I don’t feel sticky afterward. My skin feels instantly softer, smoother, and deeply hydrated without a heavy residue. It strikes the perfect balance of feeling luxurious without being overly complex or expensive. It’s become a daily staple right after showering. For a budget-friendly, everyday lotion, it totally exceeds expectations. It smells great, feels great, and the simple pump bottle design is a bonus. Highly recommend!

After using the YUKA App on my phone, I realized almost EVERYTHING I was using on my body was "BAD" or "POOR" which means its pretty much hazardous to your body, over time. I have VERY sensitive skin, can break out in rashes and hives VERY easily and it's very hard for me to find something I like, my body tolerates and that actually works! This is it! Although some of their scents can be too much for me personally, the cream itself is wonderful and WORKS to keep my skin soft. No allergic reactions. I will certainly continue to use this product

I have every flavor of Method body Lotion. coco twist is my absolute favorite. I love the fragrance. It has a mixture of coconut, avocado and macadamia oil. It helps keep my skin soft silky and moisturized. It has a thick creamy texture that goes on nicely and gently soaks into my skin without leaving any sticky residue. IMO Method has created the perfect body lotion for my aging skin. I get 2 bottles every other month. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes a beautifully fragrant and creamy smooth moisturizing body lotion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍

method never did me wrong, until i bought this lotion. i love their hand soaps and i love their body washes even more. my number one favorite body wash is their coconut, rice milk, and shea butter body wash. my routine before was using the method body wash and coconut water lotion by EOS. i’ve been using that combo for half a year and it pairs really really well! the thing is that the coconut water lotion is more of a tropical fruit + artificial coconut scent (which is not bad) and what i like about the method coconut body wash is that the coconut and shea butter is a stronger smell, which is what i was looking for in a “coconut and shea butter” product. i just ran out of my coconut water lotion and needed to buy a new one. when searching for the coconut water lotion, the method lotion popped up! being the impulsive person i am, i automatically bought it! when buying the lotion, you would think it would smell exactly like the body wash right?WRONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! i’m so offended of how it smells because it’s so bad. just imagine you’re playing with play-doh and decided to put the method body wash on it, thats it, that’s the smell. that’s legit the best way to describe the scent of this lotion, and it’s very heavy on the play-doh scent. it’s not a good scent at all, not even remotely close to the body wash. what PMO even more is that it doesn’t even moisturize me well, it absorbs really fast but like after 30 minutes i feel squeaky?? like my skin isn’t soft to touch and the best way to describe how my skin feels is squeaky. what’s even worse is that somehow THE SCENT LAST LONGER THAN THE MOISTURIZING AFFECT??? like no, you won’t feel moisturized and smooth after half an hour, yes you will still smell like the lotion…. as in you’ll be smelling like coconut play-doh for awhile. see with the coconut waters by EOS, the longevity of the smell doesn’t last, 6 hours max. this? yeah i woke up in the morning already in a bad mood because i still smelled like play-doh after putting it on the night before. this is the one lotion that i wished the smell doesn’t last AND UNFORTUNATELY IT DOES! like how does a lotion eff up so bad, it doesn’t do its job and the one thing that i don’t like is the thing that last?? bffr! i think the reason why i’m so mad about this it’s because i was having a really long and stressful day at work the day my package arrived. just imagine having a rough day at work and coming home to this in the package. the small spark of joy lit up just thinking about taking a nice and hot shower with the method body wash and putting the lotion on after then going to sleep. the pure shock and disgust when i opened the package and took a whiff of the lotion, this was my reaction in emoji form: 😄😙👃🏼😗😧🤢😐😡🤬. it genuinely was my last straw but i ended but being saved by using the last drop of the coconut waters lotion by EOS. yeah just don’t get it if you love the body wash, you will be very very VERYYY disappointed by this.

A nice product for the price, sleek and a bit oily like shea butter tends to be (but in a good way for hydrating damp skin after washing it). But for those very sensitive to scent, it has an odd undernote. The coconut and shea butter are familiar and very pleasant, even luxurious, and the overall scent is not too assertive, but there is something else going on--the rice milk?--that I found a bit "off," a little earthy and vegetative and not to my liking. I'll give it away to someone less fussy.
