Im really looking for this book, but in my country (Indonesia) they sell it so expensive. So I tried to find in amazon, and surprisingly the price is so much better in Amazon! I shipped this thru my friend who was travelling to NY that time, and he said the shipping only take a day and they packed it good. I'm very satisfied buying from Amazon.I recommend this book for interior designer, because this book contains a lot of good idea for details, a tons. And with this book you can stimulate your drawing sense, you will practice more with your hand skill!LOVE THIS BOOK

Roman and Williams have designed some of the most iconic rooms of our times. The Boom Boom room is extraordinary. Their sketches which are quite intricate and detailed are simply out of this world. What I do not like is that a lot of the images seem dark, moody and gloomy. Maybe is because they use so much dark wood in their projects. That does not take away the fact that they are really good at what they do. It's always good to have a different perspective in the interior design realm.

Flawless craftsmanship, smart and elegant design - Roman & Williams is a visual voice that is creating the look and feel for the new century while rooted in a distinctively American sensibility and history. A great book filled with many wonderful ideas that you can bring into your own home.

I have known the author for over two decades. This book is a beautiful shot and written compendium of some of his company's work, and he and his wife's personal spaces--they are so talented. Beauty, humor and warmth permeates every page. Buy this.

I heard these people speak on a satellite radio interview. I really appreciate their talent and was looking forward to reading about their projects. . .especially for inspiration. The photos are beautiful but I was wanting more information on the projects, the materials, a few details on how it all came together.There was none of that....just a brief synopsis of the project at the beginning of the chapter and then many lovely photographs. But I'm always interested in the specifics, the materials, the vision, some installation issues, etc. This is a lovely book of pictures with minimum information.The bound book is also buckling...the hard cover and back cover are bowing out...first time that's happened to me with a book this expensive.

Beautiful projects, love their voice, want their design studio space! Recognize some places I've stayed at and admired the design, before I knew it was Roman & Williams. Now I love those places even more.

Always wanted to know who did the sets for Zoolander! Had no idea it was them! Very timeless yet timely. I would have likes a bit more text, hence four stars instead of five.

This book is gorgeous, their work is gorgeous, just amazing overall. If you like their style, of course, this book is a must.

Great condition - good price.

The Ace-Hotel NYC and the Breslin were my introduction to RW. Their work is always a bit over the top, but in a good way. However, I am disappointed by Rizzoli about the actual quality of the publication. The binding has come lose (just like a lot of other Rizzoli books I have.)
