The first thing worth mentioning is that this body cream gives my skin a really healthy looking glow. It also makes my skin feel silky and soft. As I'm in my fifties, my skin texture looks wrinkled at the joints and this cream is deeply hydrating and makes these areas look a little firmer. For a more radiant sheen, this product works, and it's great for using after being outside in the sun. It's perfect for when you want to show off your legs in shorts or a skirt. The confusion for me is that it says "Lighten Skin" on the bottle. What is this cream designed to do, other than moisturise your skin? It says on the bottle that it "active skin lightening" and that it "acts against the formation of new pigment spots". I'm pale and Caucasian, and I have quite a lot of freckles, or maybe even age spots. If it's designed to lighten these then I have yet to discover as I've only just started to use it, and I'm not sure that freckles bother me in the slightest. I can't see myself re-ordering it as the cost is out of my budget. It would have to be extremely effective to justify the price. Is it special enough? I'm not convinced. Right now, I have very soft, smooth moisturised skin but as before, freckles and pigment spots. I also expected this to be made from natural ingredients as the brand is Neutriherbs. In fact, it is primarily made from glycerin and mineral oil, actually liquid paraffin, which is used a lot in cosmetics but it comes from petrol, and synthetic emollients, and very few natural ingredients by comparison. That's okay, they're all safe and tried and tested, but it's not what I envisaged from the description. As mentioned, my skin is currently extremely soft and has a lovely, subtle sheen, and that effect lasts throughout the day. The bottle is quite generous at 400 ml. The cream is light, easy to rub in and has a very pleasant botanical scent. The hydrating effects are instantaneous and overall, it's very pleasant. I do love the results of using it, and if this is within your budget I would say try it and see.

No strong scent, which I prefer. Easy to dispense and is easy to apply. It is quickly absorbs into the skin, but not so fast that you don’t have chance to work it around the body. When absorbed the skin is dry to the touch. I have a few dry patches of skin on my legs and this has helped to control this in much the same way as others I have used. It claims to brighten dark spots, but I haven’t witnessed that and skin looks much the same after use. I haven’t had any adverse reactions, burning or redness of the skin. It is a good skin cream but for £30 (at time of review) I am struggling to find something to say that it attracts a premium price. I have had other branded skin creams in the same volume and comparable quality, but between £15 to £20 cheaper. Not good value for money. 4 star cream, but also loses a star for VFM
