I’m not a professional. I tried doing my nails at home by myself, and this was my first time. Even though it doesn’t look professional, I think it’s pretty good for a first try. I honestly really liked the product. It’s very durable, and I constantly wash dishes by hand, but it still holds up well.

It's small, but for personal use or for learning it's good because it works very well. I like the texture

Month Later: acrylic nails lasted much longer with dehydrator and primer (not included) with kit. Easy to apply with forms and kit included clear, pink and nude powder options. All in all money saved with DIY NAIL FIX! The kit has includes instructions but refers to dehydrator and primer that is not included in the kit. Be certain to have your own file because the one in kit is utterly useless! I only created 2 acrylic nails and it disintegrated filing the first nail. Thanksgiving cooking and cleaning took out my middle and ring finger but too spent to go get them done so I did them myself!! Will come back to review on how long they lasted.

I purchased the SAVILAND Gel Nail Kit in the Short Square Nails during Amazon’s Prime Days in July 2025. All I can say is I am in love!! I have always loved having long nails as my natural nails are just ick. I had transitioned from acrylic nails to gel nails in the last year to hopefully help with the health of my nails. But the cost of going to the salon every 2-3 weeks was quickly exceeding my budget as the cost continued to climb and climb. I stopped going to the salon about 4 months prior but was really missing my long nails. Then I found this kit and for the price during Prime Days I thought I’d give it a try. A whole gel nail kit, PLUS a gel polish kit and the nail prep kit, was less than the cost of one trip to the salon. Using it just one time was going to pay for itself. So I thought ‘what the heck! I’ll give it a try!’ After completing my first set, I was hooked! The gel nail kit comes with everything you need to DIY. The instructions are clearly written and easy to understand and follow. The nail tips (which are full coverage!) are of good quality, and there is a large variety of sizes making it easy to find the right fit for each nail. The 4-in-1 brush-on gel is easy to use and cures quickly with the included light. The included nail drill is light in weight and fits in my hand easily - not bulky or heavy. The speed of the nail drill is easy to adjust and it has both a “forward” and “reverse” direction which is also easily adjusted. After reading many reviews, I did also purchase the nail prep kit (dehydrator and ph bond) to ensure proper adhesion. Like any new skill, it does take practice, but I have now done three sets, NONE of which have chipped, cracked or popped off. With each new set, the process gets easier and easier and I have been able to improve my technique and speed. I have received MULTIPLE compliments on my nails and everyone I’ve told that they were DIY has said they are definitely salon quality. So much so, my daughter and her friend have begged me to do theirs! I’ve enjoyed doing my own nails so much, I have expanded my personal kit to include Saviland’s Pro Salon 2-in-1 LED UV Lamp, Metallic Paint Markers, and Latex Tape (GAME CHANGER!!!). I recently purchased the SSProRemoval X fast gel nail polish remover but have not yet had the opportunity to try it. I can’t say enough good things about this gel nail kit or the Saviland brand. I doubt I ever return to a salon now that I can do these myself.

So- my acrylic powder came open, so I will not be using them. But just swatched the acrylics just to show you guys the colors, they polymerize very nicely- except the white, it becomes very runny easily no matter how little liquid you use. And my white arrive with bits of hair and stuff in it. So you can see it’s dirty in the photos. The pink and clear are very nice tho! I like them. The brushes are nice, well made, I’ve only used them to swatch for this review. But they pick up beads very nicely and I like the bristles, it’s a nice thick brush too. Now the monomer is SUPER STRONG, I smelled mines before I even unwrapped my bottle, I thought it leaked or the seal was broken but nope it’s just strong. As for the value and using it- it’s def worth the price, I would pay for it again if my kit came correctly sealed. I normally do XXXL nails so this kit would probably last me 1-2 sets, but it comes with a drill (I haven’t tested yet) so it’s not too bad. Very easy to use, I recommend it for beginners because you get everything you need without splurging. And it does its job! Below you’ll see where I attached photos of my acrylic being opened, (the clear did NOT have a seal at all, the white barely had a seal and it came off when I opened it, and pink was pushed in). I used it for a very short time since I got pregnant and I couldn't with the smell of the monomer but if it's a good investment the time I used it I loved it

This wasn’t a bad nail kit at all. It came with a lot of useful pieces, and I still have some of the tools and nail tips left, which says a lot. The almond tips were easy to work with and gave a nice shape, and the kit overall was good for at-home sets. The drill and lamp did what they were supposed to do, especially for beginners or casual use. It’s not professional-salon level, but for the price and what’s included, it’s a solid kit to practice, learn, and do your own nails at home.

This is a great set of nail prep when doing my poly gel nails. Nice large bottle of product. Works well to prep my nails so my poly gel set last longer! I definitely recommend!

Llegó en el tiempo correcto y en perfecto estado PERO lo aplique evitando que tuviese contacto con la piel pero si lo tuve y arde mucho!!! Esperé hacer la crítica después de usarlo varias veces y ser más justa que evaluar con un solo uso... No dió el resultado que esperaba al pagar un producto por ese precio!!!! Leí varias críticas negativas antes de comprar pero aún así pensé que podría ser bueno al leer las opiniones positivas y que podrían ser incidencias puntuales. Ojalá hubiese confiado más en esas críticas negativas y NO HABER BOTADO MI DINERO. Alguien lo quiere de regalo???

Great slip solution, does what it’s supposed to do, I usually use modelones brand but they were sold out so I ordered this one and it works just the same

Very easy to use, but does have an odour! I purchased the other recommendation and this one takes the cake by far.

El deshidratador me gusta, está bien, pero el primer no vale para nada, puesto que a mi jamás se me levantaron las uñas en la cutícula, trabajando en este oficio hace 8 años. Prefiero otra marca de primer ( aunque es muchisimo más caro, pero hace su función como tiene que ser) .
