Loud but efficient!
I bought this not for drinks but for making Indian chutneys, and for dry grinding spices. They are similar to making smoothies and grinding coffee. It works well!Yes, it is loud, which i wasn't expecting for a little guy like this, but totally worth it!Pros:- is very quick. You won't need to run it for more than 30 seconds at a time!- comes with additional lids, multiple jars and spare ring!!- easy to clean- size makes it easy to place in the kitchen and looks so good!!Cons:- a little too loud- too many attachments (Although you won't probably use a lot of them on a regular basis)

I have had two hamilton beach blenders and both broke within a year, I bought the bella in hopes that it will hold up longer (based on good reviews) so far (I have had it about a month) I really like it. Works well, easy to clean, easy to use and it's well sealed when in use so no spillage, it also comes with an extra large container and a small container for grinding nuts etc. I use it every day and seems like a well built little machine I highly recommend this based on performance so far.

Fruitless, but still a good item.
I bought this because I though it came with the strawberries in it, Like it shows in the picture. I was expecting to open it and have a "plug and play" smoothie experience. but when I unboxed it there was no fruit whatsoever. Imagine my disappointment! While I did have blueberries and frozen strawberries at home, I had to get them out of the fridge and the freezer, respectively. This was kind of a hassle. The fridge is about 20 feet away so I had to walk all the way there. I also was hoping it came with coffee beans too (and not those gross $400/pound ones some bird has pooped out)So yes it blends stuff well, and comes with a lot of attachments to fill the bottom of your drawers, fall behind things, and generally get lost. but it smoothies well, and does and acceptable job of grinding coffee.Jules: Vincent, we happy?Vincent: Yeah, we happy

Great while it lasted...for 2 weeks
This little guy got the job done for a good two weeks. I just used it to make protein shakes. All of the sudden it just stopped working so it's on its way back to Amazon. Such a bummer. Guess sometimes you do get what you pay for. On an unrelated note, Amazon was great with the return process. They're always so easy to deal with.

I have not put ice in it yet and the blades do not seem that sturdy so I may not do that
I use it a few times a week and it works well. A bit loud but who cares It does the job. I have not put ice in it yet and the blades do not seem that sturdy so I may not do that.

Used for a year and stands up to more expensive brands
This is the second one I've purchased, not because the first broke, but to keep one at work. The price is right and I find it pretty durable. I've had zero problems with the first one I purchased (over a year ago).....No cups have broken and the blades chop ice and frozen fruit/vegs just like day one. Can't comment on the smaller cups or the second blade that is used just for blending.

Worked great till the cup got stuck on the base.
It worked great for the first week, but now I can't get it to release the top from the base. I had to force it off one of the tabs n the cup. Wish it was no so poorly made. If it wasn't for that I would give 5 stars.

Is Working Fine for Me, But Wouldn't Recommend
I like this product. It is being used to make peanut butter banana smoothies. The large cup is perfect for that purpose. Personally, I prefer an immersion blender and a cup large enough for the blender, but this was bought for a friend. If you don't use the immersion blender correctly, you will have a big mess and I determined that this was better for my friend. I gave the friend a ruler with this so he could fill the cup with the ingredients in a certain order to certain marks. Here are the reasons for only 3 stars:1. First the cups have three small tabs that are pushed into the machine to start the motor. These tabs can be easily broken off.2. The motor is not very strong. So it takes several pulses to make the smoothie smooth. The recipe calls for frozen banana. We cut the frozen banana into fairly thin slices so we don't burn up the motor. The other alternative is pulsing the machine for a maximum of 30 seconds, giving the machine a cooling down break of a minute, and then continuing.I cannot say how this compares to other similar type blenders since I have not owned other personal-sized blenders like this. This was not expensive and is working well for its purpose. My friend was told of the shortcoming and is being careful. In general, I would not recommend this because I believe most people would burn out the motor or break off the tabs.
