I had ordered this hide a day or two before I got him, once it came in and I added it to his tank (in a spot above his under tank heater that he was frequenting) he found it and happily curled up inside! Left him alone for a day with his new hide, and the next day I offered him a thawed mouse outside the entrance to his hide and he IMMEDIATELY snatched it up in .2 secs lol! He’s 2 months old right now, weighs around 70-80grams and the small size was PERFECT for him! With him there’s still some extra room inside for now, so I know he can grow into it for a bit before I’ll have to get him a bigger one. HIGHLY recommend for anybody looking for a reptile/snake hide, within a day of using it my new baby felt comfortable and safe enough to chow down!Tip-wedge this hide in the corner of your tank between one wall and another decoration like the piece of cork bark round in my video, with at least 2 sides touching the tank walls, and make sure it’s elevated an inch or so above the ground, that way you can observe your pet inside of its hide easily without having to open their tank or disturb them! Especially fun to be able to watch them eat inside their hides! 😁

I'm very happy with my purchase. I purchased two smalls for my yearling male ball python. He fits very well and still has some room to grow into the hide. I love the way they look in his cage and I love the texture of the plastic. I will be buying these from now on, these are so much better than those expensive rock hides.

We have a variety of snakes. The small one is perfect for our smaller kingsnakes while the medium worked great for our juvenile ball pythons!

The description stated textured to help with shedding. Where, around the base?? Nothing was textured, the plastic was smooth. I returned it for this reason and that it was not big enough for Chandra. ( I had assumed it was, thats on me as Im horrible with dimensions. )

I was so happy when my hatchlings hides came in earlier then expected. They not only were clean and packaged nicely. Each hide was in its own bag with a thank you card! I have ordered so many of these for my hobby. It's really nice to feel appreciated! Thanks for the outstanding service!

While these are great hides and both my leopard geckos love them. They also can move them around their cages. They slide on the carpet. I’ve had to place something on top of them so they can’t be pushed around. The small one is textured on the outside but not the large one. It’s hard for the gecko to climb on top of the large one since it’s so smooth.

My leopard gecko loves this. It is her favorite hide, and where she spends most of her time during the day.

I've actually purchased three of these for my leopard gecko and I can't say enough good things about them. The small ones are the perfect size for an average sized adult lizard (I can't speak for large males and / or the giant morphs); snug and dark, without being cramped. Easy to clean, no rough or sharp edges that need sanding, and the extra texture makes them easy to climb.I wish the larger sizes had the same texture and mold, as I'd like to get a jumbo version for my ball python. :c
