FANTASTIC ~ best I've ever purchases
I'd give this a 10 if I could, these are fantastic !!!My story. I had polio in the 50s when I was 7 which affected my left leg the most. Although the leg was weaker and I was limited on many things, overall I got along great through the years, just had to rest the leg and not push myself too hard when it got tired. I'm from Cols, OH, and had some great doctors there but when I married in 2003, I moved to TX where my husband lived since he was still working and I was retired on disability. I should have talked him into moving to OH because I've found some lousy doctors here in the Dallas area (yes, I know, and I'm sure there are lots of good doctors but I've not found but a couple). Anyway I went to an orthopedic doctor in Mesquite and like I always do, I told him I had had polio as a child. Did he educate himself on that to see what medication someone with PPS could take (we are limited)? Nope. He prescribed medication that caused both feet to swell so I couldn't wear shoes, boots or socks !!! The right leg recovered but damage was done to the lymph nodes on the outside of the polio leg which means fluid goes into the leg but can't exit properly so I ended up with Cellulitis twice. The doctor I found to treat that sent me to a vascular surgeon where we discovered the damage to the lymph nodes on the outside of the leg so he put me on a compression machine which I have to use several hours a day. I am now confined to the bedroom 24/7 so I can use the machine and be close to the bathroom since walking is difficult with the bad knee. So I come back to TX only to have a doctor mess up the leg which was already fragile. I could tell the tiny leg was having problems with all the fluid and sometimes it would hurt and ache so I came on Amazon and found these. Absolutely amazing and although the leg still hurts a bit, I can leave these on for several days, just have to pull them up as they shift a bit when I walk. I've worn stockings from surgeries I've had in the past but the ones from the hospital were difficult to pull up on my leg which was very tender and painful so the zipper in these really helps prevent some of that. My husband slips them on over my toes and up around the ankle, then I pull them over so he can zip them a little at a time.ALWAYS make sure the zipper is all the way to the top, THEN push the zipper down to lock it in place and to keep it from unzipping itself and breaking the teeth in the zipper. These stockings are so heavy duty that I can pull and tug on them and not get runs in them (but do watch if you have nails so you don't split them open somewhere). DO measure your calf before purchase. Mine was 23" because of the swelling so these were perfect ~ snug getting them on but that's what I wanted and I will definitely buy more !!!

Best support hose I have found
Fit me perfectly and due to the zipper sides I was able to slip on and adjust to my foot and calf easily. I have used compression stockings for years and these are the best fitting and most comfortable I have used yet! I have ordered two more pairs. The only thing I did not like is my size is only in black but I put on stockings over the support hose to match my shoes. after about 3 months the zippers do not continue to hold the zipper together? the zipper pull fails to latch and within 1 hour are down around my ankles? These are hand washed and dried and I see no reason that the zipper should fail so quickly?

comfortable
I have heavy legs and most compression socks which are supposed to fit my measurements are so tight I feel circulation is being cut off. these socks are very comfortable. the zipper has a flap to prevent rubbing on leg. I plan on buying another pair.

THANK YOU PARESADEE - A GREAT MEDICAL SUPPLIER
TO THE LADY WHO HAS THE POST POLIO SYNDROME** THANK YOU, THANK YOU.I remember being told I had Polio when I was 3 yr old. I remember not being able to walk for about a year. About 3 yrs ago, I started having problems and now I am having swelling to 24". You are so right, some Drs. do not want to look into or study the syndrome. Just recently my niece who was a nurse at the VA called and told me, Aunt Lorraine I think all your problems are from when you had Polio. Bingo. Now you sound like my twin. You are so right. These stockings are wonderful. I wish they could be a 2 inches shorter. I am 5' 2" (maybe the 2" r gone now) Anyway thank you for your description and I hope this company understands how much they are COMFORTING OUR MEDICAL PROBLEM.

Quality compression for larger calf muscles
I ordered these Presadee compression socks for my mother. She had a lot of problems with leg cramps, varicose veins, spider veins, and circulation issues. She’d worn compression hose in the past, but unfortunately most companies make them for people with thinner legs. It is the people with larger legs that often need more support. I was really excited when I saw that presedee took that into consideration and made the big and tall socks. The 3X size was perfect for her. She was so excited because for the first time she had the support without compression socks that were just too tight. They still provide plenty of compression for her legs and greatly improved her circulation already. Her toes are normally ice cold and instead were normal temperature. They also took into account that the zipper may cut into people’s skin and put a protecting backing that is long enough and soft enough to lay flat against the leg and no cause discomfort. It is just a little flap of material, but it makes all the difference. Her calf measures as 18.5 at the largest portion, which is just under what they said was appropriate in sizing. However, she had had knee replacements and the top of her leg is larger as a result. Around the top of her calf measures in at 19 inches. Her ankles are 10 inches. These fit her perfectly and she said they were very comfortable but still gave support. The zippers are very good quality and glide easily. The zippers make the socks easier to put on and take off and I believe it also allows for a better fit. The material is also very good quality. It is soft and yet still provides support. I only wish these were infused with copper to provide antibacterial properties, which can be especially good for people with diabetes. However, it isn’t a big enough issue that I mind.If you are looking for quality compression socks for larger legs then you should really consider trying these. I know for some people it is a good bit of money to put of utilitarian socks that you don’t know will help or not. However, in my opinion, they take away a lot of leg pain (I have a similar pair from presadee). They are especially great if you work at a job where you are on your feet a lot. I don’t think I could get through work if I didn’t have my compression socks. These are great quality.I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
