Antique replica New York city yellow fire hydrant   dated 1904 with red American eagle logo  great for a dog park or fire fighter gift. Some folks have drilled them out and made wonderful light fixtures out of these, as well.   my favorite use is at a local dog park where they use them for  the water hose dispenser,   with some  alterations of course. very realistic
I was skeptical about ordering this. I had been looking at genuine antique fire hydrants for my yard, but they are very heavy (300+ lbs.) so you either have to locate one close to home or pay for expensive shipping. The other problem with the weight of a real hydrant is that it's not going to be easy to position it. This product only weighs about 30 lbs. and does not require any digging to install. Just find a spot for it, and stand it up. It looks like a genuine hydrant and I didn't have to invest time and money in refurbishing it. It looks great and is just perfect in my yard.
