Sizzix 3-D Texture Fades Embossing Folder, Gray

I have a leather shop in northern Nevada, I know these are for paper, but they work amazingly for embossing leather, super inexpensive way to emboss and add value to your work.I have a vevor press I got off Amazon and am always looking for more ways to use it. Found it. Case the leather and emboss. Presto. Great for wallets, card carrier’s. That’s just what I’ve used it for so far and my customers love the way it looks.

I love the steampunk look of this embossing folder. I works great! My only complaint is operator error... I definitely recommend this !

Love the design.

Great for making cards, scrap booking or other steampunk crafts! I use basic black card stock, use this embossing folder, then dry brush over it with metallic acrylic crafting paint. This leaves the black paper showing in the crevices. Then I dry brush a complimentary color in a few spots to add a patina or rusted look. Sometimes I splatter some alcohol ink to make it look grungy. I've used this to cover steampunk style boxes too, it looks really cool if used as a base cover and then add other embellishments, like metal gears, lace, leather strips, etc.

I was surprised on the thickness, but I was able to make it work with the gemini. I love the detail it leaves on the background. I really love this embossing folder, would recommend this product. Great!

Great for making cards.

I needed an embossing folder to help with designing men's cards. Most of the stuff on the market is feminine so making decent cards for men can be challenging! As this embossing folder had gears on it i thought it would be great to 'man up' said card making! I didn't really pay attention to the size of the folder when i ordered, so when it arrived i was a little disappointed to find out it was fairly small 14.6x11.4. The folder itself is fairly thick, but went through my Gemini machine fine with the cutting plate and metal shim sandwich. No other sandwiches would work. The embossing effect is pretty decent... nice deep embossing. I then used cosmic shimmer metallic silver to outline the embossing.. overall it was a decent effect and did make a mescaline look.

I used this embossing folder to create texture on pieces of soft drinks can and empty tealight holders and they all turned out well. I liked the range of textures that the folder created and will definitely use this again for similar projects.

these are very detailed 3d embossing folders and require a good quality card stock ,other wise cheap card will crack and split . so if you are investing in the best quality embossing folder then don't expect to get a perfect impression without the best quality card too.

I bought this item for a different reason than embossing. I wanted to make a mould of the positive side of the item in order to make a ceramic mould for using with glass.I,have not used it for its original purpose but I am sure it woud make a very good job with paper or thin card.

Thick embossing folder so only needed top and bottom sheet in the machine. Used dark silver and gold/brown to create different deigns which gave a metal look. Different from all my fancy flowers etc. Great.
