Amazing product for Geraniums - they are blooming like crazy.

I am amazed at the care of packaging Dripdepot provides. They wrap the bottle so it doesn’t leak and they include a note of thanks and 2 gifts, too! I’m amazed! Thank you! And this product keeps petunias growing and blooming all winter and a second season!

Be aware that it will crystallize on bottom so shake it often or use it and don’t let sit for months.

I ordered one bottle and it arrived broken. The contents had crystalized and spilled inside the box. I returned the item and asked for a replacement and I had the same issue... except most of the liquid was still in the bottle. I needed this for my plants which had started blooming so I just cut my losses and used what was left in the bottle.Using as directed plants did not seem to like it or maybe there wasn't enough Nitrogen in this as my plants began to turn yellow from lack of nitrogen. I ended up having to use 3x the recommended concentration for my plants. Wasn't worth the money in the end.

I think this micronutrient fertilizer was originally formulated for geraniums before Algoflash expanded its offerings. I've used it for years, ever since I developed sensitivity to some chemicals and fertilizers that now keep me from using conventional plant food like SuperBloom or Miracle-Gro.I have found it very effective on geraniums, African violets, and the zygotes (Christmas & Thanksgiving cactus). The trick is to supply plants with weekly feedings, and they will really take off. If you don't feed weekly, however, results will be indifferent.Where I haven't gotten good results is with the Algoflash for roses. Maybe I didn't feed frequently enough, but my roses never seemed to benefit from it.But for flowering houseplants, it's terrific.Best of all, its odor is very slight and I don't feel like I'm poisoning myself in order to boost bloom production.

For the geraniums we have in the sun it worked right away. Huge Blooms explosion! For the ones in the shade it took awhile for the blooms to push through but once it warmed up a bit and they received more sun, they too are covered in beautiful flowers! The price seems high, but thinking about the cost of the plants, the amendments, time, water etc.- it seems silly not to have them look the very best! It is worth it. Highly recommend!!!!!!! Also, the flowers are huge!

Algoflash works well. It's not cheap though. I think I'm getting what I'm paying for, but I have one issue with the product. The cap on the plastic bottle doesn't seem to tightly close. Almost every time I order any type of Algoflash product the bottle has leaked all over the box. The shippers must know this because they have been shipping the bottle wrapped in a plastic bag which is taped shut with packing tape. This protects the shipping box, but the when I open the bag it's wet and the bottle is covered with spilled fertilizer. I estimate that I lose about 20% of the product before I even open the box. Packing the product in plastic is lipstick on a pig. The bottle quality should match the product quality. Wish someone would pay attention to this.

I like to keep my annual flowers fertilized during the summer months, and also my flowering houseplants which I move out to the deck. I don't like to fiddle with the fertilizers that attach to the hose, as I don't use that much fertilizer at one time. I just mix a cap-full of Algoflash into my gallon watering-can and that's enough to take care of all the flowering plants on my deck. Another cap-full for the front yard, and a third for the back yard, and I'm done for the week.My plants really seem to thrive and flower when this product is applied. In fact I have to be careful not to apply too much to my flowering vines, or they'll grow into tendril-waving monsters.
