Mamma Mia! 2-Movie Collection [Blu-ray]

I really like the Swedish soft Rock singing-group of two couples called Abba. Their songs fit neatly into the storylines of these movies. The music is fun and lively, with simple catchy tunes and words. I gave these DVDs to my sisters for Christmas because they have liked this music in their past. I told them that playing it would be good for them to have a ladies' night-out together, since the Dinner theaters have shown live performances of the musical 'Mamma Mia' often]. The music-only portion such as "Dancing Queen" would be good for little kids to dance to for entertainment.

UPDATE: Third time was the charm! I love these movies. The first one was a major broadway hit and its story should be well known. Wonderful Abba music. Don't overthink it! It's a fun way to spend a few hours. The four-star rating is again related to the quality of the actual DVD, not the movie. While this one doesn't have scratches and is not cracked like the first two, there is something difficult to use with the first movie when selecting which scene to view. The disc just does not respond and move from scene to scene easily. It takes several clicks to actual change scenes. All in all it was definitely worth the purchase price.This is my second purchase of this item - the first was also defective. The first one had four scratches across the main surface of the DVD and as you can see there is a scratch/crack near the center of this replacement. I have a BRAND NEW DVD player, and this photo was taken straight out of the package, so it isn't anything that I did. I was hopeful that it would play OK since it was in the middle, but it did not. It was extremely difficult to get it to even start playing (long story) then when it did, it would stop and freeze up. This is brand new! Clearly terrible quality. The movie itself is great but the quality of this product is terrible.

Bought it for my wife. Got it at Christmas when we are visiting her sister... my goal. They, along with her niece can watch it without me.Achieve that goal and you get 5 stars

DVD very happy I liked getting updates on delivery

Sinceramente no son de mi total agrado los musicales, excepto por algunos casos como: Grease, Across the Universe, Rocketman, y ahora se suma este par de películas con la música del grupo sueco ABBA que se han convertido en clásicos inmediatos por la frescura e interpretación de sus protagonistas. Voy a disfrutar mucho ver estas peliculas con mi hijta que al escuchar los primeros acordes empieza a cantar y bailar!!!
