Cole & MasonOslo Salt/Pepper Mill, 185 mm, Silver/Clear

Absolutely love these! I saw them at a restaurant and began the hunt for the set. Found them at Williams Sonoma but they were really expensive. Did a search and found them on Amazon International. The first set that arrived was really scratched up and damaged. I contacted Amazon customer service first an exchange and they helped me order a replacement set. The only complaint I have is that the salt that comes in the salt dispenser isn’t very “salty” so I swapped it out with different rock salt.

I just love it the way it is.

Excellent product

Bought this exact set at Williams Sonoma a little over a year ago and paid even more than this sadly...This model of grinder is NOT adjustable in any dependable way, and the answers given by DkBrands (Williams Sonoma and others here) are incorrect and further, refer to another grinder set. Additionally, these grinders are prone to the metal retaining clip and ring breaking off with normal use which causes the grinder wheel and stem to drop out. I own this set for a little over a year, it is over priced, not adjustable and of undependable construction.

The salt shaker broke in only a few weeks of use whrer you open it up to refill, Cannot fix it . Returned after the 30 day window and onky received part of the cost back . Do not recommend this style.

There is a big price difference between similar looking mills. From past experience you never get more than you have paid for and often a lot less. Once you like the looks of the mill the important part seems to be the grinding mechanism and one type does not suit both salt and pepper. With these mills the grinder is specifically designed in each for salt or pepper and they work very well and they look like they are well made to last. I think I have made the right choice for me and would recommend them providing they last.

Good quality and pleasing to look at. Works well and has ample quantity.Downside is that they are tall and narrow and often topple over.

Looks and feels good. Works well. Best of all they fit in the small drawer in my table!

I bought a Cole & Mason pepper and salt mill set, and after a year of using the pepper mill regularly, I'm disappointed.The issue is with a plastic part that's supposed to hold the metal blockade in place when filling it with peppercorns. Unfortunately, this plastic piece broke, making refilling a messy experience with peppercorns spilling out.The grinding mechanism still works, which is a positive, but I expected better considering Cole & Mason's reputation and their supposed lifetime guarantee.Apart from the faulty plastic part, there is another issue: these mills have their mechanisms at the bottom, unlike many others that have them at the top, which leads to leftover ground pepper and salt on the kitchen counter, which is quite inconvenient.
