Not the easiest install but it was just what the washer needed to get the water draining again. The OE pumps appear to have a common failure where the impeller shaft breaks. Glad they are not expensive and lots of video's on how to replace. But getting one out and back in will take a couple hours.

This pump only lasted like a week and then it started making noise and drain real slow, we requested an exchange pump and they did send o replacement but when it shipped out it arrived broken and then we try to get another replacement and the only option was to returnDon’t buy this if you want to get you washer machine fix for a long time get a other brand

Great price and fixed the issue of the front load washer not draining. However, the part failed after 2.5 months. Sent Blue Star a message regarding the issue, they responded in less than 12 hours and sent me a replacement part. Great customer service.

Pump works but it’s extremely loud! Waaaay louder than the original.

Our LG front load washer stopped draining water in the rinse cycle. Repair would have set us back a few hundred dollars. I must admit, there are a lot of steps getting to the pump, but ultimately a pretty easy project. My husband only helped with one of the screws because it seemed to be stuck. Turned out that I needed a larger screw driver. So, if I can replace a water pump on a washer as a female, anybody can! Just make sure you use a carton for the screws and write down where they go. Otherwise, you will get them mixed up. They are all different sizes and go to certain spots for a reason. Regarding durability, too soon to tell.

I replaced a bad washer drain pump motor that I had used for 18 years from a brand new machine. This motor worked as expected with no issue at all. What can I say? 5 stars! I hope it lasts another 18 years.
