When the pandemic started in 2020, for the first time I began coloring my own hair. I'd always used Schwarzkopf's Essensity [no ammonia] formula, 7-00/Medium Blonde Extra. I do gray root touch ups about every 6 weeks, and it covers beautifully no problem. Since the Essensity line changede to Igora Zero AM, the results are exactly the same using the 7-00/Medium Blonde Extra. IMHO, there's no better hair color [especially if you have some gray]!

When my hair started going gray I went on search adventure for hair color that doesn’t have harsh chemicals as I have short haircut and my hair go like crazy, I need to get it cut every 3,5 weeks so gray roots very visible and looks ugly. I tried many natural brands but never was satisfied with any until i found this one. I am using it for at least 8 or even more years every two weeks. It coves gray very well and do not damage hair. I just want to mention that basic colors like 4-0 (-0 means basic) work the best. I tried once a color with some number after dash and it wasn't as good in gray covarage.
