The stakes are sturdy. They're a little over a foot-long apiece. The end caps aren't very sharp to go into the dirt, and they fall off a lot. There aren't nearly enough connectors. And they could be better quality. In fact, one of the straight connectors broke when I was trying to put two pieces together. Also, there are no instructions. I had to figure out how to build them all by myself. I managed though to make two a-frame trellises and connected them all: they're about 5 ft high and they span about 8 ft. The cucumbers do seem to like them. But I wish we had more connector pieces. Both the twisty ones and the regular ones. I like the garden twine, it's a big roll. And, I could use that to connect the stakes, also. I like the plastic connectors that are used to connect the plant to the trellis stakes. They seem to stay together well and they're more than ample size for both and you can double them up and make it twice as big if you need to. There could have been more stakes in it though, I thought with 143 pieces - a higher percentage of that would be stakes, but there were only 40 stakes in it. So, pay attention to that. Altogether though, it's a good kit, especially for just starting out.

We like them, we used them for our garden were Sturdy, Ease of use and the Value for the money was good . Hold and the color was nice . They fit too

This is my favorite plant product at this point. It’s sturdy. It’s adjustable and terrific item will order again.

I live in a townhome and have a very limited area for a garden. Purchased these as I just started a vegetable garden and needed something to stabilize my plants and hold up plastic garden fencing for the vining vegetables. Ordered this as it was the the length I needed, connectors and extra supplies. When I opened the package it wasn't the length it stated and planned to return it. It does come with a lot of handy extras.. clips to attach stakes together to make different kinds of formations, plant clips and a roll of garden tie with built in cutter. It also included the pieces to connect the stakes to make them taller. I figured they wouldn't be stable enough when connected. I gave it some thought and it actually was exactly what I needed. Having the shorter length worked as I can to the height as the plants grow by just connect another stake. Since the fencing I have has a waffle pattern, I just weaved the stake through it. The roll of garden tie with built in cutter is great. I have to say though, for me the plastic clips for stabilizing plants (clear round things) were a pain to close. Not a quick click. No help me as they were either to small or too big and just hung there so they went in the garbage. Overall, I am happy with the purchase as it has a good amount of supplies, the extras were handy (except those clips) can use the stakes in different configurations, pretty sturdy and good price. I do feel mislead though as it doesn't indicate the actual size of the stakes and that they have to be connected to reach a certain height.
