Oustanding product
I have purchased this product several times and I am 100% satisfied with it. It mixes well and is crystal clear. I use it to put down layers onto table tops and to cast resin pens. The table tops pour out nice and I spread it out with a foam paint brush. I only have to get the thickness close as the resin then self-levels. Once it's spread out I use a heat gun to pop any surface bubbles. I then go away for 5 to 10 minutes. I return to use the heat gun to pop any micro-bubbles that have formed. It's hard to see them, but if you look at the surface at a steep angle while passing the heat gun over the resin you can see them pop. I am only passing the heat gun over the resin at the speed you might use a paint brush. I am not trying to heat the resin, just pop the bubbles. Then it's time to wait. 24 hours it's ready for me to apply another layer. I put things like old maps on the table so I will do 3 or 4 layers of resin. With the pens, I mix the resin and split it up into 2 or 3 small cups. I then add special dyes and glitters to each and stir well. I then let the resin sit for 10 to 15 minutes so that when I pour them into the pen mold, the different colors swirl around each other but don't mix together too much.I also tried a Chinese resin and I was not happy with how reliably it mixed. Sometimes it took several days to get fully hard. I have always had 100% success with this American made product and I can always take it out of the mold 24 hours later. I highly recommend this product.

Great Stuff!
Worked and cured well - watch a few project videos first, and you'll be pouring resin like a pro in no time.Very low VOC - can be used indoors without mask as a result, which is HUGE! Make sure your pouring surface and work area is at least 65 degrees F for best results... and keep a hand torch ready, as just a quick pass of the Bernzomatic open flame will remove troublesome and unsightly "bubbles" that form during the early curing phase (before the epoxy sets).Took the dyes flawlessly, I had light gray base with blue and moss green details for walls, snow white for the ceiling (it was a multi-color, multi layer, multi piece custom bath enclosure) - sorry for the blurry image. Project came out looking great, the edges sealed perfectly with silicone, custom fit shower enclosure is 100% waterproof.Beware "buggy" grades of plywood as pouring substrate:I used a construction-grade 1/2 plywood as my flat base - and though nothing of it, as a good strong substrate. But if you use plywood as a base, especially construction grade, be careful as many commercial grade plywoods can have small "bugs" living just below the surface! I was unaware of this, and when my first coat of epoxy went on, I had to spend several minutes and intervals during curing picking "bugs" (small, gnat-like critters) which migrated out from the sub-layers of the plywood. At first i though I had a hole in my window screen, but no, they were coming from inside the plywood, and migrating INTO my lovely epoxy resin!Honestly I have run into this issue before, when 1st-coat painting fresh plywood projects - so it was more of a distraction, and actually did not harm the wood, the piece, or the project. It was just annoying, picking gnats out of setting epoxy... had I used particle board or another substrate, I would not have had this issue, so "my bad" but no harm done.I will definitely purchase this epoxy again: And excellent product, handles and performs very well, easy to use and "master"... looking forward to my next epoxy project!

Mix it well
Crystal clear and amazing finish. The picture doesn’t do it justice. This table is 8’ x 42” and the one gallon kit covered it completely. After a previous pour that developed a few spots that didn’t cure and I had to sand it down to bare wood again. I can’t emphasize just how important thoroughly mixing the resin and the curing agent is.

Works well but still bubbles
Decent quality dries clear but no matter what I did including following the directions there was still bubbles. Appears decent and is durable. Cure time is good and hardened well. Effective for what I needed

Beginner Friendly
Pamphlet needs more information about working time and especially when to remove the edge tape. Initially, we waited too long and the top was too set to run over, leaving a scramble to " paint" the extra we saved for fill spots. Then the second half we removed prematurely which had way too much run and alot of drip scraping.Suggest getting a small epoxy kit from a box store and practicing the techniques of mixing, coloring and popping bubbles beforehand. In the end, this was a first project of 55 soft of counter and it is just beautiful! I wanted white with very subtle coloring. We added matte white to the whole pour, with a side cup of light colorant, drizzled and tapped in as soon as we poued. Four gallons, split into two gave extra working time, hand mixed. A good heating hair dryer was used for bubble removal. I will be top coating for soapstone matte finish.Cost effective for a new look and these counters are curvy which would be a huge expense to replace.Minimal smell during use and yes, proper cabinet/ floor protection is super important because this is a very sticky messy project. I'm sure if we knew when to remove the edge tape, things wouldn't have gotten so messy.Totally satisfied as one cannot expect perfection as a first time user with so much area to cover.

Good stuff!
It worked perfect for me. Set faster than i expected it to! Was clear, hardly any bubbles. The few I had was easily removed with my heat gun. I have ordered more. Highly recommend.

Still usable 5 years later!
I have had this epoxy in my garage for almost 5 years now. I used less than 1/4 of it for a project 4.5 years ago and figured I'd try it on another project this week. It still worked great. I can't believe it had been such a good buy.
