Nice craftsman touch!
Easy to install, looks great. Craftsman items usually feature ginkgo leaves, which these are not, but close enough! Some reviewers mentioned it was small, but with a single door and a low roof overhang, it was just the right size for me. Beware of the styrofoam packing. There is a large block inside the light which keeps the glass intact during shipping. It needs to be cut to be removed, which you can do with a steak knife. Try to keep the packing in the plastic bag or you will have bits of foam all over the place.I would have liked to install it higher, but I used the pre-existing hole in the wall. Remove the installation bracket from any previous fixture you may have had there, because the holes probably won't line up. I installed the new plate directly to the electrical box.

Love this Fixture, good quality & attractive design
Love this Fixture, so glad I bought it. It is prettier in person, solidly constructed, lovely leaf design on sturdy glass. With a 75watt bulb, it easily lights up the driveway below our 2nd story deck out a good 20ft or so. It wasn't hard to install, no problems. It does give off plenty of light. The size is actually larger than I expected after other reviews said it's small; I don't think so, it's perfect for a porch light. Very happy with this purchase! The night photos were hard to get with my phone: the light offers lots of bright white light with a high watt bulb. Looks pretty, too.

Cannot be used on a new install that never had a light fixture because there is no mounting bracket
Nice looking lantern but no real instructions and it has no mounting bracket. I was lucky enough to have an old outdoor light fixture that had a mounting bracket that I used to mount this outdoor light. If I hadn't had the old mounting bracket, I would have had to return it to Amazon because if you don't have a mounting bracket, it cannot be used. . There were some small slivers of glass in the box but nothing that was visible damage.

This was easy to install if you know how to do basic ...
This was easy to install if you know how to do basic electrical hookups. We bought two of them, one for each side of the entry door. Any standard bulb will fit but I used a 60w led. The glass is not clear and gives off a kind of a tan to yellow light which is what we wanted. It allows plenty of light for our porch area. It has a different look than our past fixtures but we think it looks good.

Beautiful, quality lights, great value.
These are really nice lights, especially for the money. We put up 10 of these around our garage & back door. Althought they have been up for just a short time, we have already gotten many compliments. We bought these for the compact size, the simple but elegant design, & because they have frosted glass. We chose these over a similar fixture with clear glass because after checking out the clear glass fixture lit up with a LED bulb we discovered LED bulbs look terrible through clear glass. If you plan to use LED bulbs I highly recommend fixtures with frosted glass. These look to be well made & if they hold up like I expect they will they will be an exceptional value.

Nice looking and has held up for almost a year without problems. Price has increased this year!
We purchased this light fixture for the deck last year.Pro: The look is very nice, especially for a smaller house like ours. It adds an oriental flare to the overall look.Cons: The enclosure is plastic, not glass. It’s rather opaque. We have to use a brighter LED bulb to get sufficient light. It took some work and a trip to the hardware store for a missing mounting part.We love the look and are considering another one for the front porch. To our surprise, the price has gone up by $5 in less than a year! Not sure it’s worth the costs of the fixture plus labor to install. :(

Looks better in person that in the photos
Looks better in person that in the photos, the glass is a little heavier than I thought, and it is open at the bottom to change the bulb. I though it may look to small and was worried about that, but it is great for an average size porch light. If you have a large deck area, probably need something larger in size and holding more bulbs, or you could put one on ea end if you have wiring for that. The finish is a nice rust color that looks great w copper fixtures and meshes nicely with the khaki tinted glass.

Great look!!
I finally put these up today. The first one was hard because of the old wall mount. I had to do quite a bit of jimmy rigging to get it up. The other wall mount allowed me to install it simply. So it depends what you find when you take the old light off. I’m an ordinary older female so if I can do it, anyone can. These look so good up!! I love the soft golden glow!! They are so beautiful!! Happy customer!!
