By far, the best home hair dye in my opinion. I’ve used the two of the red shades and both turn out just like the picture. The instructions are easy to follow and I’ve never had a bad experience. People compliment all the time how great my hair looks and that it looks like I’ve been to a salon. The conditioner that it comes with will leave your hair very soft and shiny. I wish they sold the conditioner separately. The only drawback is that the red will fade over time as most red dyes do. For me, I just use a shampoo/conditioner that is formulated for dyed or red hair. I would buy again for sure.

I have pretty long hair but on the thinner side. I usually need 2 boxes so I ordered this, and actually only used 1 with a bit to go.. covered my whole head!! I already had a fading red color, this came out true to the color match and gave a super deep red I've been trying to make by mixing colors for years by professional brands which was EXTREMELY messy.. just cover your forehead and ears/surrounding areas you don't want dye on with Vaseline and have rubbing alcohol (and cotton balls and an old washrag) nearby for quick clean up.. comes off of skin easy, but if you get it on any surface try to clean IMMEDIATELY because it will stain pretty much on contact, but that of corse comes with all deep red or purple dyes.. and this product now has a shampoo after dying that is new to me but made the process last and smell alot better than normal when dying at home. Box dye has a bad rap, but if you keep your hair conditioned.. only wash a couple times a week and dry shampoo on the other days, it lasts and looks professional 👌

Easy to use and great coverage.

I have medium to dark brown hair, used this & it was super dark with a mahogany sheen. Not a bad thing if you're 30ish and beautiful,but unfortunate for me... The product did what it's supposed to . No complaints there, but for my age & face...um..no. Too dark. So to repair this, I used Loral Paris Frost & Design H85 and ended up with dark coppery hair color with light coppery highlights. Wow who knew?? I get a LOT of complements on my hair...which surprised this rank amateur colorist.. Since I bought the 2 pack, looks like I'll repeat the process, this time a bit more confidently. I doubt I'll pay a colorist $150 since I know I can do this.

I have been looking for a pretty color like this for a while. I left this on my hair for a total processing like of 45 minutes, two boxes. I had brassy hair previously before dying. I really like it and have subscribed and saved so I can get it monthly to refresh. Reds fade fast and though the vibrancy has indeed faded, luckily i do not see any area that has fadedSo much to where i see any blond.(and I wash my hair daily) I recommend this if you dare to risk dying it yourself. I know its a big controversy but I personally would rather mess up my own hair than pay someone to destroy it(it has happened before).

My late mother was Auburn to the day she died(age 70), so while fighting depression one year I tried her favorite color. I have been complimented by my precious husband ever since. Great choice and when the sun hits it with highlights...forget it! No doubts on this purchase.One more thing: reds tend to fade over the month; not this one. Enjoy!

This company bought out the hair color brand I used to use, and then changed the formulation, and then discontinued the product line all-together. Trying to find the right shade of red was difficult enough already, but to discontinue a brand/color used for 20+ years, and not provide an equivalent is so frustrating. They need to bring back the brand and color formulation that was originally made. The chemical smell is very strong with this brand, and you definitely need to open a window and turn on a fan when using this. It also is very drying which I did not have with the other brand. Not great, just okay.
