Yukon Gold potatoes have finely flaked yellowish-white skin with light yellow flesh. They’re bright, vegetal and slightly sweet, with a smooth, slightly waxy texture and moist flesh. They’re best for boiling, baking and making French fries. They’ll also stand up well to grilling, pan frying and roasting. Very easy to grow and great for grow bags.

They are growing!
I planted the potatoes as soon as I received them after watching a video on box garden planting on Utube. They are already big enough to add another layer of dirt to. Can hardly wait till they are ready to eat. This growing stuff is really quite fun and rewarding. Go Potatoes!

I ate homemade home grown mashed potatoes last night
We just harvested some of the potatoes. Out of all the tubers we planted I'd guess that 60% grew and produced potatoes. Not sure why only 60% grew. Im fairly happy with what grew. They taste good but looked a little different than yukon golds I buy at the grocery. We will probably order more in spring.

Arrived soft, rotten and less than four pounds
These took fifteen days to arrive from the order date. They arrived at 3.88 lbs for a five pound order. They were also all soft, mostly sprouted and some rotten. I ordered Yukon gold and was shipped purple potatoes.

OK at best
I bought these because I was too late in ther year to get local products. They were not in good shape but most seemed to grow OK but several did not.

Poor sprouting
Poor germination. I planted 10 lbs but only 3 individual plants sprouted. I watered and planted the same as I have before.
