Great for our 2 bedroom apartment!
Very nice AC! We have a larger apartment, but we found that having this in our living room (where we spend most of our time) and keeping a fan in our room keeps the entire place cool! Also, not so loud that we have to turn our TVs' volume up. I appreciate that I can turn this on via the Midea App on my phone. I typically will turn it on an hour or so before I get home, so we don't have it running all day. It's fairly easy to move on carpet; sometimes the wheels do have a hard time going over a little lip.

Very good AC
****UPDATE***.... Come mid summer I did buy a second one for the other bedroom.. They work really good but each room did need its own when it was 85 and 90° out. It is September 5th and I still did not have to drain any of them and my first one I bought in May...I was skeptical about portable air conditioners but I am happy I took the chance. I have a 2 floor, one zone townhouse with central ac. I needed something for the bedrooms upstairs, since to get cool enough on one zone its freezing and costly downstairs. I originally bought 2 of these, but returned 1. One does the job. It keeps the bedrooms with a hall and bathroom between them very comfortable. I use less of my central ac and have cooler bedrooms now! The only things I dont care for is it is noisier than expected, and with the vent out the window I could not close the blinds right. So I pull my room darkening blind to the floor over the vent and added 84"inch curtains over that to block out the light at night. I have not had to drain it yet. That will be a challenge since there is no floor drain on the 2nd floor, but I already have an idea where/how to drain it. Love the remote control... (I do wish the power button glowed a little bit better in the dark.).... Who wants to fool on their smartphone when you're sleeping... Overall very satisfied!

Must drain water!
Positive: the air conditioner works very well at keeping my bedroom cool at night so I don’t have to cool the entire house. It has saved me money on my power bill for sure! I like the continuous fan mode so I don’t hear major changes in the noise level when the ac function kicks on and off. Negative: Due to summer humidity, it fills up with water very quickly! If you don’t drain the water it beeps annoyingly and stops cooling effectively. I tried just putting a towel on a tray and letting it drain into the towel but it fills a huge pool towel each night. I then ordered a tiny water pump to put in a cup behind it but it didn’t work because the machine still thought it was full because of the minimum water level around the little pump. So my current set up is to raise it and let it drain into a clear tub I can dump in the morning.

Works Like A Charm!
This is powerful, has an easy setup & is great for health Concerns! I’ve had this air conditioner for a couple of days and absolutely love it. Installation was very easy and in my medium-size top-floor room, it removes hot/muggy air quickly. This is a big deal for me since I have asthma and allergies. I really like that it helps clean the air before circulating new, cool air. The cooling power is impressive; my room reaches a comfortable temperature in no time. At first, it was a little confusing to match the buttons with the features and lights, but the instructions and app made it easy (plus, after a few minutes of using it, everything was clear). It isn't 100% silent, but it's very quiet in comparison to other units. It's not a disturbance nor loud. It sits right below my windowsill and isn't too wide... it's honestly average height while thinner than I expected. Overall, it’s high-quality, effective and reliable. I’d 100% purchase this again and recommend it to friends or family looking for a smart, easy-to-use AC. Especially for the price... I think this is worth the money (I paid about $240 while it was on sale and am okay with that).

Electric cost is way more than it should be.
UPDATE: I just got a months electric bill. This ac' electric is costing way way way more than expected. It's supposed to have a $108 estimated yearly cost (3 months of use at 8 hours a day) at 13 cents kwh rate. My electric rate is only 9 cents kwh. My normal bill is $60 to $70 a month consistently. I only added this ac as a new electronic and my bill went up to $180. That's an extra $110 to $120 A MONTH, NOT YEARLY. So according to them my ac would have to run a full month straight at 13 cents kwh for it to cost $108. Tell me how does it cost over the yearly estimated cost for a month when my rate is at 9 cents kwh in a 210 square ft bedroom. I would estimate it being on 8 to 10 hours a day some days and others less. Something isn't right. I absolutely do not recommend just because of the electric cost. OLD: You should know I like Mideas but recently I have had problems. Right away I noticed that it won't shut off when the desired temperature is reached on auto or comfort sense. This is the 3rd midea I had problems with like that. I don't know if its a bad circuit board or thermostat or relay or maybe they are just making them like this now. Also make sure your remote settings match the units settings. E.g. If your remote says fan and the unit says cool if you use the remote to change the temp it will change the unit to fan as well, so make sure the remote shows the settings you want. Also in less than a 18 hour period I had this running and I emptied 2 buckets of water. I had to put the drain on because the gurgling water sound was getting pretty annoying. I'm not sure if this how they are made now or if all the different ones I have gotten are faulty, but I don't think I'm gonna be trying another one. Update: I got an 18 gallon pot for the drainage that I am emptying every 20 to 36 hours. It is not humid or moist in my room at all so Idk what is going on with this ac. It definitely should have a drainage hose leading out side or down a drain because I have had it overflow on me a couple of times now. Also the exhaust hose doesn't come with a screen so bugs can just get in very easily. I had a bird trying to make a nest in it as well. Luckily I have a screen window so I just had to close it.
