Gustav Mahler: Symphony No. 7 in Full Score

I liked the easy to read score which is in great shape.

I have used Dover scores for many years. They are complete and very reasonably priced. More readable than mini scores.

Always one of my favourite Mahler symphonies, this score enables the listener to discover the nuances and intricacies of this incredible composer. The score is clear, well printed and helpful to add a further dimension to the enjoyment of this defiant and forceful symphony.

New format of 11” tall makes it useless for musicians. Text is reduce on page making it unreadable from a music stand. Look for the 12”x10”!

Dover bringt hier einen Reprint der Ausgabe Bote & Bock Berlin (1909). Aufgrund der Papierqualität der Scan-Vorlage erscheinen besonders die Notenlinien oft unregelmäßig, unscharf bzw. verdickt. Dies und das manchmal doch recht kleine Stichbild beeinträchtigen die Lesbarkeit des Notentextes. Bisweilen sind Seiten auch zu blass wiedergegeben. Wer seinen Geldbeutel schonen will, wird trotzdem zu dieser Ausgabe greifen.
