This is a great concept and will be a brilliant device when it is finished, however, I can really only call this a 'beta' version. There is no comprehensive user manual - you have to search for hints on the knowledge base, or the user community, or raise support tickets. Support is readily available, but I am not convinced you should need so much support for what is marketed as a consumer product. It is highly configurable if you know what you are doing, and the rules creator would be fantastic if it worked first time. The developers seem to be supported by a very tolerant user community, so I really hope they get there!

The zipatile is a great product and the latest software version is really nice and seems very stable.What you get out of it is directly proportional to the time you spend setting it up. It can take a while (hence only 4 stars) but the reward is worth the effort.

Absolute waste of time. On my 3rd device now as first 2 were faulty. This 3rd one does actually work, however I cannot register it with Zipato, due to their software being full of bugs and generally rubbish, so basically its useless. Have raised numerous support tickets with Zipato yet we are now on day 5 of being unable to use it, so I have £350 sitting on my wall serving no purpose except for showing me the date and time.If I were to role the clocks back, I would now buy a Fibaro controller!
