Hallelujah I'm saved! Like a larger US Fritos brand corn chip
I grew up just outside Dallas, Texas, and as a child at school we were served what was in known in Texas as Frito Pie a few times per week (school lunches had much simpler menus 30-40 years ago). It consisted of Texas chilli (no beans, no tomatoes), grated cheddar or Jack cheese, sour cream, sliced jalapeños and a bag of Fritos brand corn chips. It is one of the most delicious memories of my childhood and is what I think of when I think of Texas....well besides barbecue.Fast forward a decade or three and I'm now a British citizen searching desperately for a good corn chip in the land of potatoes, and I'm having very little luck. The few tortilla chips that are sold in the UK are not very good, and popcorn just won't do. Enter Old El Paso and their corn tortilla strips. I should mention that these chips are in no way tortilla-like despite their name. They are a thick, longer-than-it-is-wide strip of fried corn that tastes EXACTLY like Frito-Lay branded Fritos from the US! Each bite is a seriously delicious combination of crunchy corn and salt that begs to be dipped into sour cream, guacamole or salsa (like tortillas & tortilla chips they just aren't very tasty here in the UK - make it yourself for best results).Or you could grab a handful, smash em up and put them on your chilli-con-carne next time. You'll thank me just after your first bite!

Just Like American Fritos; Fabulous Corn Flavour
I'm an American permanently relocated to the lovely UK and was craving some American Fritos, which are extra thick, very salty corn strips. But it's really hard to get Fritos in the UK, bc this country is all about the potato. Since UK food is definitely a higher quality than US food, I wanted to get a brand that was firmly established here in the UK bc UK laws cut down on how many additives get used. So I tried these. Oh my, so good. Just like Fritos. If you're craving a strong corn taste and don't want the hassle of popcorn, get these. The UK struggles to make a good tortilla chip, so these are a way better choice if you really want that corn with plenty of salt happening. These are also very filling so start with a small snack bowl and pace yourself. But they are fantastic and you'll never want to eat hard triangles again after these.

Prefer Doritos
Got these to try home made nachos. I have to say we prefer Doritos. These didn’t hold up so well in the microwave and ended up a bit soggy. The flavor was good though.

Lovely crisps - lower in salt than other varieties.
I really enjoyed these. They are not as salty as others I used to buy, but I actually like that. They have a nice texture and I use them with dips as a snack. They also work well with melted chesse as whilst they soften, they do not brake apart.

Nice to see gluten free
Gluten free, nice but a bit dry in the mouth, could do with a bit more salt or something.
