Disgaea 1 Complete - Nintendo Switch

Game came fast and its really run if you like repetitive gameplay

I am really enjoying Disgaea 1. I am new to the series and I was worried I was not going to like the combat. However, I found that it was fast and enjoyable. If you are not new to JRPG but, new to the Disgaea like I am I think you will enjoy it. But, if you never played a JRPG but, you are still interested in Disgaea 1 I recommend finding a good walkthrough online, to help you navigate the different systems in the game because it can be a little overwhelming. But, if you are willing to learn and okay with the grinding in JRPGs, and a story and characters that don't take themselves too seriously then Disgaea 1 could be the game for you.

My daughter wanted this game and we could not find it anywhere. Until my huisband looked on Amazon and we found it at a great price. Love tat you had it and at a wonderful price too.

This is a shinier version of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness that came out way back on the Playstation 2. It's cleaned up quite nicely though and it's just as much fun as it was back then. It has all the extra stuff that it's various ports have gotten like Etna mode, so yes this is well named by calling it 'Disgaea 1 Complete' as it is a very complete version of that game. Might feel like a step backwards if you've played Disgaea 5 though, but still an excellent strategy RPG game with a cute and quirky story with charming characters that will leave an impression on you.

I wasn't expecting anything new so to speak, I was hoping this was a straight port that was improved through graphics.I enjoyed the original, all the flaws and good things about the old one were kept here, which made me quite nostalgic. This is definitely not for someone who wanted huge improvements in terms of game play, but literally wants that ps2 Disgaea game again for a newer system or handheld. This definitely delivered that port to the switch.

Great port of Disgaea.It is from the PC version of the game and it shows.No Prinny Commentary !!! :(Same UI and mechanics as the original version but the newer graphics make it easier to use. I wish the ZR speed up from Disgaea 5 was available but oh well.There is no Cheat Shop.

This game is countless hours of entertainment. It's a much better story than Disgaea 5, I think. It's characters seem to have more depth. There's a lot of grinding to be done, but it doesn't feel too repetitive.

I prefer to use a controller for this game the joy cons are a touch small for my large man hands.The joystick you use for movement can be frustrating because of the small size. I was able to make more precise choices with a controller.

brings back memories from my youth, the only part that I do not like about this version of Disgaea 1 is that when you first get into the main stairwell of the castle you cannot slip into Etna's room like you could in the original version.

So i bought this as a way to play Disgaea on the go and I will say if you’re a fan of Tactical RPGs and you’re not fussed about them being very grind heavy I highly recommend playing any of the entries in the Disgaea series

Llegó a tiempo y en excelentes condiciones. Es un grandioso rpg táctico si te gustan los final fantasy tactics o el tactics ogre es una gran elección, la trama es estilo anime de comedia con waifus, mi única queja acerca del juego es que solo viene traducido en ingles y francés.

It has foul language but because of that it’s hilarious not really for kids but still a great game
