Good option for new DIY enthusiasts
I gave the Multi-Drill 5 stars, but I don't think this drill is the best fit for everyone.First, this is really more of a driver than a drill. While the chuck accepts hex bits, the chuck isn't swappable, so you will need to use hex drill bits and not standard drill bits. This isn't a huge problem since hex drill bits can be found at any hardware store these days. You could also use something like the Make it Snappy system (which I highly recommend) to mount regular drill bits into hex connectors for this drill. I find I do most of my drilling this way since swapping hex bits is faster than swapping standard drill bits, so the lack of a Jacobs chuck for standard bits isn't a deal breaker. But if you do work where you need some precision in your drilling, you may want to also have a real drill anyway since hex bits have a tendency to wobble and have runout. The Multi-Drill is a better driver than a drill, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's really hard not to compare this to the Bosch GSR12V-300HX. Dremel is a division of the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, and the two tools use the same 12V battery platform (albeit with different branding). Because of that relationship, there are several benefits to buying into Dremel's new Blueprint line: (1) there's a pretty robust family of compatible 12V tools you can explore, and (2) this isn't Bosch's first rodeo and the engineering and design is top notch. Bosch knows how to make a good drill.Relative to the GSR12V, the Multi-Drill has a couple of clear upgrades: brighter LED, the bit holder is push to insert, and it has a C-shape design. But it’s also a bit bigger: 1/2 a pound heavier, 1 inch longer, and 1 inch taller. It's also one variable speed (0-800 RPM), not two (0-460 and 0-1750), and has less torque. Since I've seen YouTube videos trying to explain the difference between the "1" and "2" numbers on a drill, it's easy to understand why they kept the Multi-Drill simple with a single "Goldilocks" 800 RPM speed setting and I don't fault them for that. The kit price for the GSR12V is $159 (MSRP) and that comes with a bag and two batteries. The Multi-Drill is considerably less expensive at $99 (MSRP) and comes with one battery and no bag, but you do get an integrated stud detector and laser level. It does fit in the Dremel and Bosch 12v soft tool bags, but you need to buy one separately. The laser level is removable, and I wouldn't be surprised if some makers start creating some other 3D-printed tools that you could tuck in the laser level slot. It's an unconventional design choice, but I like it. The stud detector isn't removable, and it's perhaps my one significant complaint because the tool is a bit bigger and heavier to accommodate a stud detector you won't always need. The stud detector and laser levels are good, but they also aren't anything to write home about. The Multi-Drill I received was made in China. In sum, I think this is a good tool for a new homeowner or a new DIYer and could be a gateway tool to the larger Dremel/Bosch 12V ecosystem. If the integrated stud detector isn't your cup of tea, I'd encourage you to check out the Bosch GSR12V-300HX (which I use on a regular basis). I'm really glad to see Dremel developing more 12V tools, which is a great form factor for DIYers, makers, woodworkers, and hobbyists.

Good around the house tool.
Good tool, for around the house. Not a heavy duty tool. It may fix a few things around your home but don't try to take it to the work site.

Worth it
I bought this mostly for doing assembly work on anything im building especially when it comes to pocket screws i dont have to worry about having too much torque and stripping the holes. I havent used any of the gimmicks such as the laser or the stud finder but for just a driver its worth the cost alone.

Good space-saving starter drill
This 3-in-1 drill is pretty handy; it comes with a lot of bits for different scenarios, and the three integrated tools perform well. However, this is definitely not for heavy-duty use. Hanging a TV on a drywall stud, sure, but not for anything involving masonry or tile.-- The Drill --The drill works well - it's decently powerful and has an adjustable torque setting to prevent stripping screw heads. It takes impact bits, which is a little odd since this provides far less force than an impact drill (I wouldn't use this to remove lug nuts, for example) but maybe that's for space saving. It would be nice if I could use my key-type bits with it since, as mentioned above, the included drill bits cannot cut through tile. I spent a good 5 minutes trying to get through a (admittedly pretty thick) tile on my bathroom wall, but no dice, had to break out the Black & Decker. I do appreciate the two stows on the sides for extra drill bits - with them, you can comfortably carry around three drill bits.-- The Stud Finder --The stud finder was easy to use and seemed accurate. It was a bit difficult to keep pressure on it so it wouldn't turn off, especially in tight spaces. There is a notch indicating exactly where the stud is when detected so it can be marked with a pencil, which is a very thoughtful bit of design.-- The Laser Level --A small part of the equation, but I would say my favorite bit of the kit. Works great even on lumpy and uneven surfaces. Also has two spirit levels attached to it, so you can be sure the laser is going exactly up or down, or you can use the spirit levels alone since the unit has level sides. The laser level detaches from the drill for ease of use, but can still be stored neatly in the handle to save space.-- Integration --I did have some trouble using the drill with the stud finder attached and vice-versa. If there's a bit in the drill, especially one of the longer drill bits, there's a risk of putting a hole in the drywall if you slip, so make sure to take it out. I feel like that defeats the point of the combined tool a bit... When drilling, the stud finder juts out and gets in the way a LOT. This drill cannot reach into many spaces that my B&D can because of it. It's convenient to have all of the tools you need for a job right there in your hand, but it comes at a cost.-- Overall --The Dremel Blueprint is a bit expensive, but the build quality is top-notch; as expected since this is a Bosch product, they're really great. I expect this tool to last for many years. For heavy-duty work, I unfortunately can't recommend it for the reasons listed above, but if you're a renter just doing occasional projects like hanging up pictures or minor repairs, and you don't want to deal with storing or carrying around a bunch of individual tools, then this is an excellent choice.

Works as advertised.
Works as advertised. User friendly and easy to follow instructions. Plus a lot of tutorials on YouTube for further assistance for this product. Already completed to projects and stud finder and laser level worked great.
