This is a good, sturdy piece of kit with easy to understand instructions. Very good value for the money. It comes complete with bits and bit-stops, so all you need is a good drill. I screwed mine to a piece of 3/4 inch ply (about A3 size) for stability. I never got past having to tidy up the screw holes with a Stanley knife and sandpaper, but they cleaned up well. I made a whole series of bookcases and am very pleased with them. Sturdy joints, and with careful placement no screw holes visible.

Easy to use and does the job it was intended to do. Built out of aluminum, which I prefer over plastic found on other systems, as it is more durable. I have one mounted on a board at home, which I like, but the case is also handy for the one I carry for jobs away from the house. Comes ready to use, but you need to purchase appropriate screws.

This dowel jig kit is well built out of solid aluminium and comes in a handy case. It does its job well and I like the side wings, that help steady larger pieces of wood. Compared with the cost of more expensive dowel jigs, I found it good value for the money.
