Pebeo Porcelaine 150 China Paint 45-Milliliter Bottle, Ivory

I purchased these to mural a custom tumbled marble tile backsplash wall in my kitchen. Following the instructions and watching the instructional Pebeo YouTube video made this a fun project. One thing, these paints are thinner than acrylics (even the opaque colors) purchase extra so you have enough to give you adequate coverage. Thinners aren't as important as extra white and black for color manipulation. Super fun to use, no-low odor. smell a bit when you bake them but the smell doesn't send you running from your house.

I used to be able to buy Pebeo porcelaine paints locally ( michaels) ----the cheaper substitutes for it that they carry now are OK, but just not the same, love Pebeo products-wish there was a local place I could just drive to and get my paints the minute I need them, but since there isn't, thank goodness for Amazon----

Used for the bottom of dishes. The bottom where the glaze didn’t cover & would scratch counter top or other dishes when stacked. I painted this on bottom, problem solved. Just as described. Fast shipping. Excellent product great value. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased this product as I needed the color Ivory for my kitchen sink. The color on the label of this container is stated as Ivory. The paint inside the container is pure white. I checked the internet to confirm if an Ivory shade would ever be white. In no instances found on the internet is the color white indicated as a shade of Ivory. I used a very small amount on my sink with the thought that although it looked pure white in the container, that perhaps it would turn darker when dry (wishful thinking). When dry it still is pure white. This item is not worth going thru the return protocol, because that would be counter productive from a time and dollar standpoint. I'll just need to eat this one and not order from this vendor again.

I used this paint to paint over sharpie marker on mugs for a christmas present from my child to his grandparents. The paint did the job it was supposed to and it holds up in the dishwasher as well. The only gripe I have is the paint doesnt paint on very smoothly and you could see brush marks. I probably should have bought the thinner as well.

Beware of tiny bubbles, which are hard to remove & do bake on! It's true of all the Pebeo 150 colors I have. Frustrating, HOWEVER maybe learning to paint without creating small bubbles is a problem with all artist paints? OR maybe it's a problem painting on metals-- I'm painting on brass & copper sheets.
