I noticed my skin peeling within 2- 21/2 weeks of using the product. I used it twice a day. I wasn't sure how much to use but I finished the whole bottle in that 2- 21/2 week time period. The skin peeling was extreme, so I'd recommend you wear pants if you're going to go out. During that flaking period I lightly dry brushed my skin to loosen up the flakes. Like I said, I ran out of the product right when it started to really work. I would have kept going but I had to re-order and it took longer to arrive the second go around. I ordered a 3-pack the second time and am still using it twice a day. There has been no more flaking so I think my legs have improved as much as they are going to. My legs are A LOT smoother than they used to be. I am very pleased with the product. I was hoping that it would lighten up my "strawberry skin" (darker pigmented hair follicles) since some others mentioned that it did that for them. But, my bumps are gone and I can't complain. I've used a few methods to get rid of my KP/chicken/strawberry skin-- Amlactin, dry brushing, oils, etc. and none of those helped at all. I plan on using it on my elbow/upper arm area next. I'll wait until the winter though so I can hide the flaking.

After almost 15 years of searching for a product to stop ingrown hairs once and for all, ive finally found it. THIS WORKS! This potent formula starts working in hours, reducing inflammation, redness, and brings the problem ingrown hair to the surface. The sort of amazing thing is, after it clears up ingrown hairs, it prevents them. The instructions say use twice a day but after it cleared up all of the initial ingrown hairs, they never came back! I reduced my usage down to about three to five times a week now. I cannot recommend this product enough. The smell is a little strong, kind of like vinegar, but if you've been struggling with sensitive skin and ingrown hairs for as long as I have, the smell is nothing compared to the results. This product is awesome, especially for the price. I will use the product probably the rest of my life. Also- I received my bottle very quickly even though Amazon predicted it to be sent a month from the order date.

I bought this product to get rid of KP. Skin will strip so you need a good exfoliator. Skin is a lot smoother now however the little spots are still there but seem to be gradually fading. You need to be consistent with product and it does dry out your hands so using gloves is recommended as your hands will start to strip as well if not used.

I get really bad ingown hairs in my private area. Even when I get it sugar waxed and I exfoliate nothing seemed to help stop them when my hair was growing back. Putting this on 3 times a day helps a lot. It did dry out my skin but I didn't have a problem with that. It didn't get rid of them completely but it did help a bunch. The bumps went away almost all the ways on my bikini line. I did try using a acne cream with 10% benzoyl peroxide on my vagina just to see if it worked. I use it on my face for pimples and it dries them up withing a day. Surprisingly it worked amazingly & completely got rid of the stubborn ingrown hairs. BUT I noticed when I sweat the smell of the cream and my sweat mixed would make the most disgusting smell EVER. It doesn't even need a lot of sweat to smell. So I only use it when I know I'm just going to be sitting in the house all day. Just thought I would include that tip because it worked for me.

It didn't do anything for my legs and I have really bad strawberry legs. The smell is very strong so try to avoid inhaling it. Definitely use gloves if you do buy it and use it cause the skin on your fingers goes peel off. It might not have worked for me but it might work for others

I was highly skeptical of this product when I bought it, but I thought if it is terrible I just won't buy it again. I get a military two finger skin fade style haircut and get awful ingrown hair and bumps on the back of my neck every time. It has happened for years and I was sick of it, so I decided to research it online and after a couple of hours stumbled on this product. So I took the plunge and tried it. Let me tell you, it is one of the few products in my life that has lived up to the claims. As soon as I started using it, the bumps I had started to disappear and within a couple of weeks, they were completely gone! I was applying it twice a day with a cotton ball and after about a month I cut back to once a day. To my surprise, they were still gone! It has been three months now, and I have only had two very small bumps since then. And I believe that is because I cut back to using this every other day once to save on the cost. So one application a day is probably best after you have gotten rid of the ingrown hair. It does cost about $60 a year for me (if applied once a day), but it is worth it to get rid of the embarrassing and often painful bumps on the back of my head. I am a fan for life, and will be ordering more every three months!!!

I realized that I'm writing this review quite a bit after using the product, but thought I should share my own experiences. I did NOT use this on my face because this is a very drying exfoliator using AHA and alcohol. Instead, I only used it on my legs. My leg hairs used to be constantly ingrown because they were getting trapped under thick skin. I highly recommend using sunscreen when using this product because AHA will make your skin more sensitive to sunlight ( will burn more easily and scars will get darker). While using the product ( twice a day using gloves and leaving it on), my skin did start peeling. After using the product for about a week and a half, I moisturized my skin everyday. This is the most important part to preventing more ingrown hairs! After waiting another week I began exfoliating my legs with a washcloth instead, once a week. It has been a year and I get significantly less ingrown hairs as long as I keep up with moisturizing. I would definitely recommend this product as the first step towards addressing ingrown hair problems, but would not suggest use of it long term.

This stuff really works but be careful on sensitive areas. My beautician recon this after I had an issue with I growing hairs after waxing. This stuff is brilliant, I no longer get any ingrown hairs. But it is strong so you need to take care. Moisturise well after use.
