Do not buy
I would not recommend this for anyone. It never worked.

Disappointing
During a particularly unbearable heatwave I thought I would try this product instead of investing in an AC unit for my small studio apt. It honestly made next to no difference, even when I was sitting directly next to it. More like a humidifier with a fan.

With ice, it is noticeably cooler than my non-misting fan
Misting without ice will still lower the temperature of the air (because the water will draw in heat as it evaporates), but not by much. Adding ice to the reservoir makes a noticeable difference. Unfortunately, the reservoir compartment only opens about an inch (2 cm), so cubes have to be added with some difficulty. This is for personal use at close range. The fan is kinda loud, especially on high. I will probably try to fit a Cooler Master 120mm computer case fan (ultra quiet).

This is not for you if you need to make your room cold. I did not feel any cooling in my room,even when i slept near it

It is just a humidifier that puts out sorta, kinda, maybe cool air. Goes in the yard sale pile!
