How To Draw Animals For Kids: A Fun and Simple Step-by-Step Drawing and Activity Book for Kids to Learn to Draw

The book doesn't have very many tips on drawing but what it does have is the different pages it has for each animal. The grid by grid, free hand and trace pages are awesome. The animals are simple kid friendly for both beginners and even some non beginners. I bought this for a 9 year old but when it came in my girlfriend saw the book and stole it! She draw's, paints and does quite a few different kind of arts from pour paint to brush and even attempting to wood carve. I on the other hand can do a stick figure which is all I can do. So with her stealing the book I had to order another one.It's a great book for beginners of all ages not just kids. Cheap and made from recycled paper but not the odd brown color, it's actually a white sturdy page with good quality so it won't tear too easy or rip.

My nephew loves this. Its easy to follow and there are a variety of characters to draw.

This book introducing a great concept to kids of focusing on drawing one portion of something at a time ( shows grid pattern) rather than being overwhelmed at trying to duplicate the whole picture. Kids do have short attention spans and the follow through may vary. My son (8) opted to use his own drawing methods but the book still supported them well. Great just for giving them different ideas for things to draw and kids away from electronics for a bit. Good buy.

I like the format of this book. I got it for my 6 year old granddaughter and the pictures are cute yet simple enough for her to utilize the drawing method presented. Since it's a gift I'll have wait and see how she interacts with it.

Great book for a child to learn to draw, loved it!

The cute cover is what drew me in and the interior content was just as fun! Purchased for my daughter who is still getting the hang of the grid drawing part but she has also loved coloring in the pictures too so it is double the entertainment, woo! (There is a page with an outline of each of the animals which is intended for tracing but also great for coloring)

Bought it for my 10 year old daughter but the pictures were more for a toddler. Great quality just not really what I wanted. Did receive a full refund and they let me keep the book so I gave it to a friends daughter.
