The rubber-coated thread is very soft.

I bought this charger cable a few months ago. Initially, it provided fast charging, but now it switches to slow charging after just a few seconds. I liked the build quality and it worked well at first, but it only lasted a few months. I tested it with different bricks and confirmed it's the cable. If you need a durable charger, look elsewhere this one won't last more than 3-6 months. Update: They refunded me the money so I'm happy. Possibly could have been unlucky but it was definitely a good wire while it lasted.
