Maybe a little too much relic
Body took Fender parts perfectly. No modification was needed. I wish the relic job wasn’t so drastic. Little too much paint was removed and it will likely bother me to the point where I replace it later on down the road. That aside, it’s a great project body. I used it for a relic baritone Strat build and I’m happy with the overall build.

Decent wood, pretty cool finish, bad routing and neck pocket
I chose this body because i couldn't bring my self to destroy one that already hd a nice finish, the wood isnt bad , the finish and relic job looks pretty cool but the routing for the pickups is slightly off so i had to hog it out with a router , the neck pocket has huge gaps and i had to shim the neck 1/4” to have it be in line where it should be, note* i used a 50s fender neck and road worn hardware, but after adding a neck shim and adjusting the neck as much as i could i got it pretty decent , now it plays good and sounds pretty good, also to note* this body is much lighter and not as dense as a alder fender i compared them side to side, if you want a fun project to learn how to build a guitar it would be good but if you expect a direct replacement this isnt for you , i have been building guitars and playing them my whole life and this one tool some work

Perfect replacement body
I bought a cheap Chinese Strat that the plywood body split into two pieces. What a difference! The Squier neck fits perfectly. Please be aware that there are no holes drilled, so you need to have a really good measuring device and a drill press to get everything lined up. This is the finished guitar and it sounds absolutely wonderful! I put a solid brass center block on the bridge and with the Squier electronics. This Guitar sounds absolutely amazing. And I have the option of upgrading.

Excellent
Excellent body! Can’t believe the price, all parts fit. Love the look. Fitted it with a fender neck, 60’s vintera pickups, all fender hardware. If you’re thinking about a build this is a great body for a DYI.

Great product. This body was a great foundation for a build.
It was a lighter weight body, but solid. Everything went together as it should. The Fender neck matched up perfectly. The relic finish looks good in person. I would definitely buy this one again. Now I am contemplating one of the other colors for the next build.
