I read that PQQ helps MANY functions in the body especially mitochondrial creation in the brain, which interested me a lot. It also has healthy heart implications, but when I learned PQQ taken with Berberine created a dynamic response in combatting insulin resistance I was sold! PQQ seems to have helped my body on several levels after taking PQQ for ~ 4 months. It is recommended to take breaks from this supplement, which I plan to do for a couple weeks - starting January 1st!

I should have read all the ingredients. The capsule of this product contains carrageenan, which is highly inflammatory to the digestive tract and not recommended for people with weak connective tissue or IBS. I'm going to try emptying this product from the capsule and mixing it with a shake instead. I will update this review to 5 stars if it works well.I purchased this product after reading scientific journal articles stating that this product may strengthen the endothelial lining of the sinuses, lungs, and digestive tract to prevent infection. Since I have weak connective tissue due to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, I thought I'd give it a go. Research shows it takes 3 months of use to benefit endothelial tissue.This is one of many supplements included in the Cusack Protocol for EDS. You may have fun googling it if you have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Always ask your doctor before starting a new supplement.

I found that this is an added supplement to vitamin b complex. I have gotten more energy and alertness through the day. I am in my 70's. I feel fortunate to have heard about it.
