It’s my third radio and finally on I love. Nothing i don’t like about it. Greatest tuning, fabulous speaker and I totally love the numeric keyboard with large and easy to press keys.

As a licensed ham radio operator I find myself buying all sorts of radios and have 4 shortwave radios. 1) The radio arrives in a high quality box expertly packed. 2) includes an impressive leather case. 3) The speaker and sound this radio produces is a noticeable level above other radios of equal or lesser value. This is a fabulous sounding radio. 4) At this price you expect SSB, great sensitivity and selectivity and great reception. This radio checks those boxes. 5) At this price you expect package to include optional long wire antenna. Included. Of all these features the feature this radio provides over other models is the amazing sound quality. You won’t be disappointed.

We really like this radio. The battery life is amazing, and the audio quality is second to none. It holds up well to travel, has many nice features, and can really hear a lot of stations.

Just picked this up here on Amazon. An upgrade from my Tecsun PL 660. Love it. Love listening to HAM radio. Great sound and very sensitive tuning. It was nice to see the addition of USB C for charging and data. Must be a newer manufactured model. Great radio so far.

Great for keeping notified when the power is out and who knows whatever might happen. It has good sound and a nice case.

Right out of the box with the battery installed, the battery level indicator showed empty and with a 7:00 hour charging time remaining, which you might expect right off the bat. However when I plugged in the AC adapter, the battery level indicator showed full but still showed a 7:00 hour charging time. That didn't seem right. Well, after charging for several hours it still showed a full battery and a 7:00 hour charging time remaining, but when I disconnected the AC adapter, it showed the word "Lo," an empty battery indicator, and a 7:00 hour charging time. Definitely not right. Well after plugging back in and charging for 24 hours it showed the same thing, full battery indicator, but 7:00 hours charging time remaining. Unplugged it still showed "Lo," empty battery indicator, and 7:00 hours remaining. Now get this! After unplugging the AC adapter AND removing the battery, it STILL showed "Lo," an empty battery, and 7:00 hours remaining. Holy smokes! Was this radio haunted??? Was the battery faulty or was the radio faulty, or both??? By the way, with the AC adapter plugged in the radio received FM very nicely although with a slight amount of static even on the strongest stations. MW and SW however were nothing but very strong static hash. Was this what was to be expected with the AC adapter? Without the AC adapter the radio was silent. Considering the high price, the radio seems fragile and cheaply made of somewhat flimsy plastic. It looks and feels delicate. I was very disappointed.This radio is definitely going back. It has lots of great features but it is waaaaay overpriced!

Great radio, feels well built. Much easier to work than PL-880
