Excellent for healthy plant growth and shrimp.
I've got a thin layer of this at the very bottom of my 75 gallon tank, all throughout the aquarium, and I add some more to the water column about every other water change and my shrimp and plants are the healthiest in all my time of fishkeeping. I started with 6 Blue Velvet and 10 small Amanos, there are now well over 60 Blue Velvets and the Amanos are close to two inches long. I have had to prune my sword plants back because they were beginning to exceed the maximum growth quoted in my plant book and they were starting to emerge and my tank has a lid. All this in just six months. I have to add though I also use CO2 and shrimp safe liquid fertilizer but I've used those for years and the one thing different was the Mironekuton.
