UPDATE: I am still taking this product over a year later. When I run out, my energy level plummets. I was always so tired. So I reorder and once it arrives, I feel better again within days. It really has become a product I don't want to be wuthout. / I bought this product about a month ago. I am female, 45, and I have been having trouble with fatique, depression, and not being able to lose weight. I found this product and liked the reviews so I decided to try it. To be clear: I AM dieting, excercising moderately, and have totally stopped drinking alcohol (because I was drinking a glass of wine every evening and beer on weekends). I take my DHEA every morning. Maybe its a combination of all these things, but I have finally lost five pounds. I am sleeping better. I wake up feeling refreshed. I have more energy. Most importantly, my mood is far better. I am content and happy instead of feeling down and exhausted. Not sure DHEA is the main cause for this, but I am 100% sure that it is not hurting, so I will be continuing to use it from now on. I feel like its been safe and effective. I would recommend this product if you haven't tried it. I honestly believe it's helping me. Update: Still using this product and I know for certain it helps my energy level and weight control. I ran out of my latest bottle about a week ago and ordered again, for I don't know, maybe the fifth or sixth time? I have already lost my pep, waiting on the new bottle to arrive. I don't mind giving myself a short break, but I sure can't go long without this product. Oh, and I have nothing at all to gain by posting this review, just wanting folks to know I am still very pleased. I have recommended it a lot of my friends, it really seems to help me and my thyroid doctor told me it was fine to take it.

I turned 50 a couple of months ago and my body gave me daily reminders of my age. My chiropractor/nutritionist recommended I try DHEA to help balance my hormones and improve my energy. SO glad for the recommendation and this product. Within a few days of taking the DHEA my energy and mood were better, my thinking was much clearer. I was even sleeping better because my hormones were more balanced (an issue I'd brought up to my chiro). I'm able to move and exercise well and even my appetite is more controlled. Is it the DHEA?? YES! I went on a 10 day trip recently and forgot my bottle of DHEA. Within a couple of days I felt the difference. I was grateful to get home and start taking them again! This DHEA has really improved my quality of life.

This product doesn't have a flavor and I didn't order it for pain management which is why I rated those two the way I did. I really didn't expect weight loss with this product but I was hoping that boosting my natural hormones could help with the post menopause fat distribution. I haven't gained any weight in three years however my waist was creeping ever larger. It's been about a month and I haven't lost any weight but my waist is down a couple inches and I'm thinking it redeposited itself in my rear end where it was supposed to be. At least according to the way that I looked in a profile yesterday. The most amazing thing about this pill though is after about 3 days my mood became much more stable -manage stress better, happier. Co-workers, family noticed that I was just a lot more myself. I'll keep taking it for that.

I have to say that I am so happy with the benefits I am receiving with this supplement. I was not looking for DHEA, but happened to stumble upon it when looking through the supplements. I am a 51 y.o. female who is post-menopause now for 4 years. Have been experiencing a ridiculous amount of fatigue, aches and depletion of energy daily. I'm quite active, lift weights and run 4-5 miles a week, get 8 hours of sleep a night, with a healthy diet. So I could not understand why I was physically exhausted ALL THE TIME! My mood was flat, not overly depressed, but looking back now before starting this product, I think I was depressed. I have been taking this daily now for 3 weeks and have had significant changes to my energy level and mood. After the first week of taking this my mood was brighter, I felt happier and not flat in my outlook on life. By the end of the second week, the aches and fatigue had started to become less and less. I am at the end of taking this supplement now for 3 weeks and feel great! I haven't noticed any changes regarding my weight, but then I'm not overweight, I do carry a bit of that stubborn abdominal fat that seems to plague most menopausal women. Hopefully this will go away with time. I also did not go to my doctor first to ask about taking this supplement and dosage, or to have my DHEA levels checked. I've read that higher dosages can have several negative effects, and that one should not take this long term. I don't know anything about that, other than this is the first time in the last 2-3 years that I am feeling really good, physically and mentally. I have not had any negative side effects. I take it once a day, first thing in the morning with my breakfast. I am so glad I stumbled upon this.
