ESV Journaling Study Bible, Artist Series (Hardcover, Joshua Noom, The Lion and the Lamb): Holy Bible, English Standard Version Hardcover – November 21, 2024

I'm what my pastor calls a "seeker", so new to everything for the most part, had read bits and pieces of the Bible but never the whole thing.Not only is the hardcover a beautiful work of art, the innards of this Bible are phenomenal. They have extensive notes on every single page of the Bible, and they provide a lot of illustrations like maps of the countries being talked about and when. This is supremely helpful especially coming from a place where I know almost nothing about the story, and certainly less about the context.It is going to take a LONG time for me to work through this from Genesis all the way to Revelations but I already know I will thoroughly enjoy it and become more educated in God's word than I ever have before.I'm not much of a note taker (not right now anyways!) but every single page has a large amount of space for you to put your own extensive notes. Given how much information is packed into this Bible, it is pretty bulky and heavy so you'll probably want a backpack or some kind of Bible carrier case to make transporting it more convenient and protect it from getting damaged.

This journal Bible is amazing quality and the artwork on the outside is just stunning! I'm obsessed. The pages are very thin, so you do have to be careful to not rip them. But it contains an introduction before each book of the Bible that includes a timeline and key themes of each book. It also has a glossary in the back in case you need to check the definition of a word. It also as maps which is very cool and some other imagery inside that help paint the picture of what is being told.I added the tabs to mark each book in the bible, so those were bought and put in separately but I also found those on Amazon! Highly recommend adding those in.I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a journal Bible and it is worth it's money. Very satisfied with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. This study journal is beautiful !The margins are perfect space to note take while studying .The book is sturdy the pages are delicate and authentic .The translation is perfect as well , now very different from original text ,

I bought it mainly because of the beautiful art cover. Inside is amazing study information to go along with any reading. The area for notes is also nice to have!

It is a very thick book since most of the pages are used for notes and information. So do with that what you will. Great for home study, not great for church use. It's just too big

Beautiful Bible. Pages are very thin and the published type bleeds through but plenty of room for notes and plenty of informative study points. The print is super small but as long as you vision is ok it is tolerable. I have not yet jotted down notes or tried to use bible highlighters but I am pretty sure there will be bleeds through
