I use hair forks to keep my bun in place, and have tried a bunch of different kinds. I even cut and filed down a couple that I liked that were too long. I have one kind that I particularly like that is thin and flexible, not too long, with a rounded curve at the top. That one had been my favorite until I tried this one. I find that a lot of others are either too long or too flimsy and fall out too easily. So I have tried a lot of different styles and even made custom versions! I thought I would try these as another alternative. They are great! I have long, fine hair, but a lot of it, and this works like a dream! The design of this hair pin is ingenious! The plastic is flexible and has some give, but then stays put once it's pushed into the hair. The curves inside the three prongs put enough pressure to hold the hair firm, but without pinching or pulling. They stay in place better than any other style I have tried. Another reviewer mentioned these hair pins breaking, and I could see this happening at some point, if used with too much pressure, or just over time and use, but they seem pretty sturdy and if used carefully seem like they will last.

I bought these on a whim, but now have these as my go to hair clip for work. It’s a small learning curve of how to best get it to stay in your hair, but once you have it figured out, it’s a breeze. I love that they’re compact and not bulky like a clip. They’re well made and feel like they will last a long time.

These work well for my thinner hair. They were not good in my daughter’s thicker hair. They held my hair well with a little styling product. They did not hold my daughters heavier hair up long.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Worked well for my fine hair. I was able to do updos and they hold all day. Not uncomfortable like claw clips, and stay firm in the hair. Very lightweight. One did snap, but otherwise no issues

These might work for you, but they definitely didn’t work for my fine hair. They stay in place for a bit but it’s definitely not an all day hold for me. It’s not to say this is a bad product, there’s not a lot of products other than regular ties or headbands that hold my hair in place for work. I also don’t use a lot of product which might also affect the functionality. But the price is good so worth a try!

These work really well. They hold the hair all day and they are comfortable. I usually wear metal combs, but I bought these for travel. They are a nice investment.

These did not work at all for my fine hair. I was looking for something flat to keep the hair off my neck and out of my way without too much fuss. I think as optimistic because the little extra bumps on the teeth of these made me think maybe it would stay put, but no. These combs were brittle, had no grip, and fell out immediately after I put them in. I’ve seen some of a similar design that are metal, like Bobbie pins. That might work better for fine hair, but I’d never go for plastic again.

I have very limited ability to style my hair and these clips make it effortless! My hair is medium/thick and wavy. At the moment it’s just past my shoulders - once it gets really long, these may have their limits. But for now I love the clips - lets me do an elegant French twist in a few seconds. They don’t dig into my head. I’ve only broken one after months of using multiple times a week - and I was sort of forcing that one in the day it broke. Usually they slide in effortlessly.

Habe sehr feines Haar, aber diese Spange hält den Dutt den ganzen Tag zusammen, wenn man dass Haar vorher mit einem Gummi zusammenbindet. Ich finde die Teile einfach super! ♥

I love these! Just one needed for my hair, although those with thick hair would possibly need to use two. Really useful and they stay in place.
