Bit of oomph
These are great for giving you that bit of kick on longer endurance rides. Handy packets for travelling, but better value with tub for house.

It's good, but leaves a sticky feeling in your mouth
I like these, they are easy to use and drink and 2 of these saw me through a 100 mile ride during quite a warm day. The problem I have is that each sip lea es you feeling like you just had a really really sugary drink. You feel sticky in your mouth and want a drink of water to remove that feeling. I think they are good, but that sticky feeling is enough for me to switch to something else.
