The BASE B879 Be-Shiny is a lightweight safety trainer with slim cap toe cap and S1-P SRC safety classification. The metal free design creates a more flexible trainer without compromise on safety features. Slim Cap reduces the toe cap thickness to 6.5mm and the weight by 35%, without any compromise on safety, to offer the wearer a much better fit. The B879 Be-Shiny has a fabric lining which is treated using the Smell Stop process and offers protection against bacteria and the bad odours caused by sweat. The high breathability of the upper combined with the Smell Stop technology work together to keep the foot dry and comfortable. The Be-Shiny uses the Airtech system: a technology which allows the increase of the midsole to improve cushioning. A reduction of the outsole to a thin layer of just a few millimetres is then achieved using a TPU Skin rather than traditional, weighty materials. These technologies offer the wearer a true anti–fatigue sole, which means less tiredness and greater comfort whilst still achieving SRA, SRB and SRC slip resistance ratings. The Fresh ’n Flex system offers a metal free, puncture resistant midsole and the Ultra flex gives you greater flexibility and cushioning.
